Came here just to say. LOCK THE DOORS !!! FOR HEAVENS SAKE!!! CLOSE THE BLINDS. LOOK AROUND!! DO SOMETHING!!!!!! Like stakes are VERY VERY high if you get caught in that historical timeline especially. Like COME ONN NN. THEY HAVE BEEN caught every single time !! like you would think that one would learn from the first time! or the second ! you know because the first time the prince himself catches Phob . And that's ok. That's acceptable . The second time it's the mom. At this point you should register. third time it's the dad. Now this should be unforgettable lesson to learn. 4th time is the fiance girl and it's looking like the brother is on to them so like. what are they doing.
I'm just shouting at my screen for them to check their surroundings. Like double check! Please š„ŗ
hm.. i don't mind the plot though. It's just a "slice of life" story. Relaxing to watch. No stress watching…
Honestly I just started watching Edge of horizon. And that is so STRESSFUL because I'm shouting, beginning to my screen for the characters to lock the god damn doors or smth. So after that this is quite pleasant to watch.
the pacing for that 'forgivement'... even the novel... Chapter 22 the arson scene and they forgave him in Chapter…
Hah, right. How about denial, anger, bargaining, depression before we get to acceptance and forgiveness. Like the Bar is sooo important to him no? And we're actually acting like he ruined something of average importance:D
You take two great actors who are clearly capable of showing every possible emotion. You give them good styling, great cinematography, amazing locations, and an interesting premise. On paper, the characters are great too: one is insecure about his body and has obvious body dysmorphia, another has unusual interests. The ideas are all there. So why are the dialogue and the script so bad? Honestly, when I was a kid playing with my Barbies, these were the exact kinds of conversations my Barbies had with each other. Your lifelong dream burns down, your business is destroyed, and then in the very next scene, you forgive the person responsible because they said sorry? That's exactly how kids play on the playground with their characters. What frustrates me most is the wasted potential. So much money, talent, and time go into making a show like this. Before you put people on set, make sure the writing and dialogue actually feel real. Because honestly, it feels like someone with no experience could have written these scenes, and that's what makes it so disappointing.
I'm confused why the mom wouldn't want to be more sure who her son's father is? Wouldn't she want to have a DNA…
Than has EVERY RIGHT to be furious š¤¬ šÆšÆ But our sweetheart only wants answers. Which he absolutely is ENTITLED for!!!! He must get answers! He must know ASAP!! Can't wait to see how this goes:)
No because Iām sorry, this isnāt just miscommunication anymore, this is full-on character assassination. Youāre telling me Akin was with Than for YEARS and still doesnāt know that this man ā this bubbly, sparkly-eyed, emotionally transparent golden retriever of a human ā is absolutely incapable of masterminding cheating, secret pregnancies, and cinematic betrayal? Be serious. If you know Than, then a random photo of him asleep next to someone suspicious shouldnāt scream āhe cheated,ā it should scream āmy boyfriend is in danger, Iām putting my shoes on.ā
And letās talk about the REAL betrayal here, because ghosting your partner is already unforgivable, but Akin didnāt just disappear ā he robbed Than of fatherhood. Thatās not angst, thatās diabolical. Even if you genuinely believed your partner cheated (which is already wild), you still donāt get to decide that a child doesnāt deserve to know their parent. Especially when that parent is clearly someone who would step up, love that kid, and do his absolute best. You donāt get to make that choice for someone else. Ever. What makes this worse is that when Akin met the mom, he STILL said nothing. Even if in his head he was like āwow, heās a cheating asshole,ā the morally correct thing wouldāve been to encourage the mom to come forward. say: āWhatever happened between us, heās not a bad person. Heās kind, heās responsible, and if thereās even a chance the child is his, you should tell him.ā Thatās not forgiveness ā thatās basic human decency. Because from the momās perspective, she spent ONE NIGHT with a man. She doesnāt know him. She doesnāt know if Than would help her or be evil about it. Akin had crucial context he couldāve shared, and instead he chose silence ā which trapped everyone. And honestly? The mom meeting Than in real life wouldāve ended this entire plot in five minutes. One look at him and she wouldāve known: yeah, no, this is not the man. This is just a name attached to a phone number. Thatās it. Which is why Iām standing by this with my whole chest: Than is not the father. Not emotionally, not logically, not narratively. I believe the truth lies under the wrong contact information.
And donāt tell me Akin moved on, because he clearly didnāt. Heās still in love with Than, still emotionally attached, still raising a child while believing the man he loves betrayed him. Thatās not strength, thatās emotional self-harm.
At that point, pick a struggle: either confront him and say āyou cheated, Iām leaving,ā or admit you never believed it enough to let him go.
When the truth finally comes out and Akin realizes heās been raising a child that isnāt biologically Thans? Thatās going to be INSANE.
Because it wonāt even matter anymore ā that kid is his forever ā but the realization that he destroyed his own happiness, robbed someone else of fatherhood, and rewrote multiple lives based on an assumption? Brutal.
And when that moment comes, I need Akin to APOLOGIZE. I need groveling. I need yearning. I need him to actually fight for Than, because Than deserves someone who chooses him loudly and without hesitation. Especially after showing up with those flowers like the softest, sweetest, most sincere man alive. God, heās so cute. Too cute for this nonsense.
