Politics over Spiritual Mystery
The first episode of Human Vapor drew me into the spiritual-mystery of his way of killing rather than the reason behind the murder. It was kind of disappointing for me that as the story goes, the "how" was side-tracked and replaced by a huge "why" to fill the void.Fortunately, those reasons were good enough, compact enough, and big enough to shift our focus from how Human Vapor could kill in such way. The line up was top-notch as well, didn't disappoint.
Worth to watch, minus the side effect that you would hum to Ellie My Love after finishing this series.

Time-Travel Plot
It reminds me of Steins;Gate. I like the way the plot thickens suddenlyㅡwhich I normally don'tㅡbut this drama is sure enjoyable!It starts with mysterious company hiring hopeless people by giving them mysterious missions daily. Missions were simple and sometimes corny, and it took like 3 episodes for me to believe it might be slice of life before the plot take turns to become much better. Everyone has their own missions, their own gains, what's okay and what's unforgivable. It makes us torn whether to be in whose team since everyone has gray moralesㅡbut I think it is beautiful, because that's what human is.

Clever Storytelling Combining Folklores and Crimes
In my first attempt to watch AARO, I can't deny that it lacks of those "first kick" hook that keeps you going. First few episodes of AARO follows "one episode one case" format that Japanese drama usually has, moreover for their crime slash mystery genres. Hence, I dropped AARO midway before picking it up again five weeks later.Second attempt is something that I didn't regret. Although it was late, the plot then discovers that folklore wasn't only myths. The God might look like us, or might not, but still around us.
From that moment on, AARO becomes interesting. The plot thickens around humane crimes and the involvement of mysterious powers that actually holds the destiny of humanity.
In the end, the series depict Gods as deities that aren't totally divine, after all. If they decided to renew this series, then I will sure watch them.
