Fr the self control needed to not cave n binge everything before next week’s eps should qualify as a survival skill 💀

Wait I just realized you’re a guy 😭
Ngl it’s kinda refreshing seeing men on MDL actually invested in C/K-dramas and writing reviews instead of acting allergic to emotions and character development 💀

MDL users trying to maintain critical analysis while spiritually collapsing over one wrist kiss is the real entertainment here 😭🤣

the fandom collectively entered their final boss era of giggling, kicking feet n permanent delulu residency 🤓😝 (n honestly I love this for all of us)

LMAOOO excuse my behavior 😭 Cha Se Gye got me on MDL typing like I survived a war n the war was one wrist kiss. This app truly has only two types of comments:

“the cinematography reflects postmodern loneliness”
or
“HE LOOKED AT HER WRIST AND I ASCENDED”

N unfortunately he turned me into the final boss of the second category 😔 lol

I genuinely did NOT expect My Royal Nemesis to eat this hard 😵‍💫

That WRIST KISS N HEAD HOLD was so SEXYYYYYY 🫠 the tension, the constant bickering, the.....THE CHEMISTRY??? INSANE.. Not just romantic chemistry - every interaction feels ⚡ And the comedic timing??? chef’s kiss. Even the OST hits every single time...

AND CHA SE GYE. ..EXCUSE ME????? YOU SEXY SHIBALLLL 🥵 STOP GIVING ME BUTTERFLIES. The way he looks at her??? The micro expressions??? HELLO??? Dominant but also lowkey submissive like a cute mutt following her around helplessly 🐶

AND LIM JI YEON is actually INSANE here 😍 The way she switches from full Joseon queen energy to absolute crackhead comedy within seconds needs to be studied 🤌 Half the time I’m not even reading subtitles bc I’m too busy staring at her expressions.

Honestly this drama lowkey pulled me out of my kdrama slump. It’s just FUN. Like actual entertaining weekly television that makes you excited for the next episode instead of feeling like homework.

Right now this drama feels like the love child of Mr. Queen chaos + chaebol romcom insanity + a woman who absolutely refuses to behave normally in any timeline ✋

I have lots of issue w this movie...so many strings left, the story felt weak, predictable, scattered from start BUT it was def entertaining movie....loved the color grading, cinematography, solid acting y cast AND oh god the fight scenes were chefs kiss... the root top, the staircase n even the chase it was well executed ...more like action flick. Lastly, I didnt expect to see uri Jung Hae In as villain (in general) but damn i'm impressed w the pyscho over stimulated killer vibe...looking forward to see him in more versatile projects

Of course talent and acting skills matter, but the industry never works on talent alone. A huge role is what company…
Hey @linjitah ...u hv a pretty name 😀 thanks for taking out your precious time n giving thorough perspective---- you made some fair points, especially about how supporting roles can sometimes build a stronger n long lasting career than instantly jumping into lead roles, then eventually ending up typecasted....i admire the versatility ...That said I still feel there’s a difference between being respected within the industry n being given the same level of visibility or momentum as some other actors.... LJY has been getting diff projects yet the public conversation arnd him still feels disproportionately small compared to actors who gained massive hype much faster with far less range...iykyk

And honestly ik the industries has never operated on talent alone but idk was expecting korean industry to be maybe lil different..but keeping it aside—I think lately it just feels more obvious because social media can push certain actors into “it boy” status overnight while others either quietly build good filmographies without getting the same recognition or many don't even get that opportunity...

My bad it came out it wrong way i didnt mean a weak trajectory — I just personally feel he still hasn’t had that one defining role (that even u said) that completely shifts global public perception of him into top tier mainstream recognition if u get what I'm saying... Decent projects and exposure, yes. But a true breakout cultural moment? I still think that’s missing "for me"
