N honestly I fully get what you mean about KHN being more suited for movies..he has this very quirky lived in acting style that shines especially well in films... A lot of his movie characters feel memorable + they were cool too..You can try Forgotten (thriller-10/10 recm) n First ride- fun light no brainer watch -since u dont prefer k romance much (as u said) otherwise love reset is fun watch too... I had good laugh

As for Love Scout- same here ..so watched it...ig LJH’s calm vibe suited that role well

What I meant about KHN was that despite being in the industry for quite a long time, his MDL list actually doesn’t have that many ML dramas n there are noticeable gaps between projects (Like 2014 he got 2 main roles, then 2016 - 1, 2019 - 1, 2022 - 2, 2024 - Squid Game and then its sequel then 2025-Tastefully Yours.. So I guess as someone who enjoys his work n personality, I just hoped to see him in more shows over the years. But yeah compared to some of the other names I mentioned, he definitely has had more films and projects overall.
As for LJY- I do agree with you girlie.. that he shines a lot in villain/supporting roles. About the ML charisma part… Umm I’m honestly still undecided on that I’d rather stay open minded n see how his future projects turn out...

and as for your take ... that’s the fun part about dramas I guess ... everyone connects with actors differently haha ! Have a nice day :')

My bad its not lee jun hyuk i meant kim jung hyun (the one from Mr. Queen) for him the ml projects are even less than KHN, glad that finally from 2025 he is getting 1 project each n has some more coming up in 2026....i enjoyed his acting in mr. crown, siren's kiss as crazy obssessed guy, hundred memories was fine too lastly, 3. i agree with wat you said for lee jun hyuk ...very recently i did enjoy his shows-love scout and dear hyeri (i do hv some issues w them but ill not go into detail for now) ...it wasnt wooooowww but yeah it was decent watch and kim jae won hahahah yes he got that fem charm lets see how he turns out in coming years.....AS FOR Lee Jun Young looking cold and detached its completely fine i saw him in some variety shows n he is introvert which might look like he is being kinda cold ....TBH when i started watching kdrams he wasnt my first pick either...he doesnt hv strong script first pick kinda shows either.... but lately i watched some of his shows n movies- brave citizen, melo movie, when life gives tang, weak hero, imposs heir, pump up- i felt he has potential but not a break through ml script

I'm excited for this project and heard what u said but tbh deep down i feel its not gonna get massive success like crown prince or boyfriend on demand....no matter how poorly executed or bad acting was in them ..shows like them n many more thrive through huge blind fan following or massive pr.... (to clarify- no hate for any actor but the shows were terrible ..great for those who genuinely enjoyed but they were just not it...i was stunned with the crazy viewership ratings). Anyway its gonna be tough battle for him ....sometimes i just pity bc other actors deserve some love too :'( and i hope i dont offend any fan of CP or BoD but sometimes its okay to criticise your favs....constructive criticism exist for a reason - no harm in that ig - bc we want to see our favs grow n become better n better !

This guy still hasn’t had his breakthrough script like other K-actors.... Even rookies like Lee Chae-min and Kim Jae-won have started gaining attention (which they absolutely deserve) but I feel like Lee Jun-young still isn’t getting the global recognition he deserves.....He’s one of the most hardworking actors out there....Lately it feels like the K-industry only chases shiny name tags and trendy actors. Talented and underrated actors like Kim Jung-hyun, Heo Nam-jun, Steve Noh, Kang Ha-neul and Lee Jun-young are barely getting shows despite their skills....Why is that? Who’s actually getting the scripts.. I’m just thinking--- sometimes it really feels like talent alone isn’t enough to break through in this industry. edit:- 1. KHN -he comp have more projects still not many ML ..also hv some amazing movie but with quite a gap between them 2. by break through script (for LJY) - I mean that cultural fandom project which gets him global recognition.....altho as support lead he did bag some decent projects

yeah ig it had 2 purposes one -that person above mentioned it acted as trigger point for ina n other being easy exit out of jae yeol's plan as u mentioned

1. thats what i want to say that knife attack wasnt needed to be the "trigger point" to realise her feelings...they could hv done it differently ...again it not actors fault they are giving us their best 2. I don’t want a perfect or always composed ML either....I think my issue was more with how the scene was executed. For me the football jealousy leaned a bit too heavily into exaggerated “cute childish boyfriend” energy so it lost some of the emotional nuance his character ....
I feel the same jealousy could hv felt deeper if they showed more inner conflict along with the outward reactions in diff way— like him trying hard not to react but failing, getting visibly distracted, becoming competitive in a restrained way n their are many more ways to do it...So it’s not really that he became vulnerable or foolish in love....its just that the writing could hv balanced the humor with a little more emotional subtlety so it felt less tropey and more naturally human .... but its fine to hv different expectation i get your points too

i was personally enjoying the show until ep 7.... the knife attack was so not needed to make her realise her feeling ..i hate it when writers do this...was this necessary in show ? not at all ...also someone said - "ML character Gi Jun changes from one of being confident, smart, to that of insecurity, acting foolishly at times. " - i get it the idea was to make him look like a jealous cute lil puppy but it worked opp. ... also the show had fun -light vibe yet it kept moving towards the plot...i hv no complains about the acting its the script giving me ick now..lets see wat we get in coming episodes.. the show might redeem itself

probably its the pity for Kim Jae Ucks characters in this show but to me the idea of Ju In Na and him as pair together doesnt sound bad but im well aware the script goes as No Gi Jun x Ju In Na...As far its for secrectary n her feeling getting rejected multiple times it feels forced if KJU accepts her in the end ....wouldnt feel like it iykyk .. liek trying to make a forceful pair with 2 ppl who had sad lives.......6 eps are still left and feelings have been confessed thinking wat are they planning to do w next 6 eps probably 2 more eps will dwell on the past of Ju in na and ceo n maybe her feeling confessions to No gi jun

will def try his other shows n movies

its crazy if u voice that perfect crown is just not it ppl will come down hunting you looool esp in their own show section...No hate i hv enjoyed some of their previous works but this show got me fast forwarding n then eventually dropping.. 🥴 bws face felt plumpy with all work done couldnt enjoy his acting much n as for iu n his chemistry it felt lacking...great visuals but its not clicking not to forget Steve Noh- what an eye candyyy 😋 hehehe but i cant tolerate the show just for him...looking forward to see him more amazing shows !

omggggg finalllyyy a series i can enjoyyy in this kdrama rut! The chemistry is chemistrying 🤩...loving the acting so far cant wait for next weekend 😍 the rating is so low :(

For future viewers... I have not even started the show yet (i plan to) BUT i can tell its going to be FIREE for 2 simple reasons 1. THE CAST is so PROMISINGGG (seo yea ji, woo do hwan, ok taecyeon and the supporting actors so many of them are talented) 2. ALMOST 9 YEARSS since the show telecasted ppl in comment section are still WISHING IF THEY CAN MAKE MORES SHOWS LIKE THIS! QUALITY AND TALENT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF !! :)

yeah i feel the same even though i have enjoyed previous works of leads n s-leads but its just not clicking no hate..great for those who are enjoying !

now i can imagine her...she'll look great fr ...but i am not sure if she'll be able to carry the authority of queen...maybe a softie princess at max :(
