Deflecting with 'bot account' doesn't change anything. I'm literally just watching this off a rec list as a normal viewer, not a blind shipper. I’ve called P’Kian cringe in the past and even gave it a bad rating, so I’m definitely not taking sides LOL Duang’s actions in this ( not the actor, the character) and his mannerisms just felt way too exaggerated and off-putting to me. I'm allowed to critique what I watch on this page, and I stand by what I said. Go touch some grass.
Currently watching this since it's on the list of BLs I needed to watch. Sorry, but is Duang supposed to be mentally challenged or what? How's this normal? P'Kian was also obsessed with Peach and stuff but it was never this level of cringe? I don't know why I was recommended this.
Are Leng and August paired now or just for this series? I don't see any chemistry between the two. I swear it…
I swear the empty plot is the main reason Dech’s feelings for Gaew/Great came out of absolute nowhere. They had zero impactful moments to build any believable romantic foundation. And look, I hate trash-talking actors, but Leng’s performance is painful to watch. It’s shocking that someone with that level of emotional flatlining got a main lead role. I’ve seen my fair share of weak acting in Thai BLs, but this is a new low and it still managed to baffle me. I don't wanna make any assumptions here but if they signed on with strict no-NC/intimacy clauses, fine, that’s valid. But setting boundaries doesn't excuse a complete lack of chemistry or basic romantic tension. Why are the second leads and literally the servants getting all the actual romance and carrying the NC quota that no one asked for that the main leads clearly refused to do? I have zero hope left for this finale. I genuinely hope they never get paired up in a series again and leng needs acting classes first......
Ah well thank god then!! I guess I'll push through the last 2 episodes just to see how messy the ending could get but damn, I really can't believe how terrible the acting is ?? ! Also Gaew is really not even trying to go back home it's so weird like what's his goal even??
Am I the only one struggling with Love Destiny? After Love Upon a Time, I had high hopes for another great time-travel/period BL, but this is a rough watch. The main couple feels completely secondary because there's no spark or tension between them. On top of that, the plot is going nowhere with frequent filler scenes and the acting isn't saving it. It’s a bummer because the setup had potential, but it’s just not delivering.
I’m currently watching The Early Spring, but I’m finding it really hard to get through. Both leads feel incredibly bland, and the dynamic between them is deeply off-putting. Instead of feeling like a cold perfectionist, the ML comes across as predatory!!!!! especially when he made a move on his direct subordinate while she was drunk and vulnerable IN HIS OWN APARTEMENT. The power imbalance makes his entire vibe uncomfortable. Meanwhile, the FL lacks agency and personality, making her completely forgettable as she just passively absorbs the workplace pressure and his boundary-crossing advances. The show tries to sell a mature, realistic romance, but it just relies on outdated, toxic office tropes. It’s a shame because I really like Jing Boran, but this has been a really tough watch
I literally posted a review saying the exact same thing about how I wasn't able to forgive him after the divorce arc, he went from the greenest of flags to a terrible husband/ML. The ending was ruined because of this.
YES! SMB SAID IT! Romance should NOT be forceful at all and hearing about ppl talk about the novel is levels to…
Ewww I can't imagine how he is in the novel because he was already disgusting in the show with all the forcing. This doesn't shock me tho because Chinese novels like to romanticize this sort of behavior.
I can recommend Lost romance, it's a taiwanese drama and really really good. A dream within a dream is also really good. Love in time although the actress is a bit annoying but I still enjoyed it. See you again but it has a terrible ending .
