also, i'm trying to make sense of why hwayoung would ever demand the death certificate and funeral to use jangmi's name. she said it's the one way to save seorin and dream hotel's reputation? why would the chairman even CARE about the stupid hotel at all, hIS GRANDDAUGHTER JUST DIED. AND THE OTHER WILL BE DEAD ON PAPER TOO? HUH?

seorin is so unlucky compared to jangmi's protagonist halo that it's almost comical. it's the SECOND time she realizes how important she is to jangmi and sukhee, only to die the next day. and why on earth is hwayoung omnipotent? she's everything everywhere all at once.

since we've reached this point, i firmly believe the writers are testing how much more ridiculous this can get before everyone decides to stop watching. pfft, bring it on! let's see who will be the last one standing.

in the preview, he says he wishes she would get facial surgery. as for me, i thought she'd have more difficulty dealing with her new appearance, but she was doing just well, patiently waiting. for him to mention it, knowing she's in love with him and would certainly take anything he said to heart, is way too cruel, even if he's not teaming up with his mom. why would he bring it up? how are they going to redeem a character as nauseating as him?

seorin formulating a thought in the preview... it's like seeing an ex. the synopsis says hwayoung will devise a wicked plan to silence her (seorin). she can't do much now, i wonder what she'll come up with. try to kill her? forge a second accident? i don't know, offer junho on a silver platter? everything is already a mess, whatever her plan is, it won't make much difference anyway. or at least i hope so... estoy cansada, jefe...

this is script is like ragebait final boss

hwayoung acts like a vulture, and nobody cares about whose carcass she'll devour for dinner. it's ridiculous how easily she gets close to sukhee. it makes no sense that sukhee is STILL easy prey; she should be living under the chairman's wing regardless of whether she's his daughter or not, and jangmi should've already taken the necessary precautions to ensure she's never alone, or completely at the mercy of anyone who wants to harm her. seriously, i'll go bananas.

hwayoung isn't 'doing nothing', but the mere fact that it's so easy for her to get her upper hand all the time is proof enough that everyone is lenient towards her wickedness.

seorin was a charming character; she had everything jangmi lacked, and the contrast between the two was wonderful. it's truly a shame that she died in a terrible car accident that day after catching junho confessing his feelings to jangmi... so sad.

agreed. she's already done enough. staying with the man who was willing to kidnap her sister and hold her hostage just to satisfy his sick fantasy would be too much.

i'd like to double down and say it's beyond absurd, but words fail me to describe such a blunder. i'm watching a tomfoolery.

oh, it's unbearable. unbearable! it's simply insane how they handled this kidnapping. the way the characters treated junho as if he didn't know what he was doing and that kidnapping her was a moment of weakness, something a lecture would solve.
this man is completely OUT OF HIS MIND, you let him go now and he comes back later to do something MUCH worse, what the hell!? and how do they have the nerve to let a character who was KIDNAPPED feel so safe with the kidnapper's presence that she sleeps like a baby and doesn't even FEEL him lying next to her during the night? he could have done whatever he wanted to her in that house and she wouldn't have been able to defend herself.

the slow-motion scenes of the veil falling, of junho stepping on the bouquet... and then on the veil too since only the bouquet wasn't dramatic enough. it's so childish it gives me a headache. it's the kind of scene we Don't have to feel bad for their pretense. we should be addressing the elephant in the room.

and the ghost town? there wasn't a single living soul in the vicinity. #&!$?&

in stressful or fearful situations, our bodies produce adrenaline for the sole purpose of increasing our "fight or flight" response. her reaction, besides being unrealistic, was a slap in the face, showing how little they care about what they write.
no one is going to let themselves be dragged out of a church like that; all she did was try to pull her hand away. it doesn't even seem like she was THAT afraid of him since she offered no resistance at all. i would've made him crash the car, because anything, even death, is better than being kidnapped by a man. just thinking about it makes me nauseous.

and what in the actual Hell is wrong with baekho? he's the weakest man i've ever seen. a guy who can't even throw a punch back and falls twice in a row in front of his wife... so, so embarrassing.

i could even accept hwayoung's crocodile tears moving her if i hadn't seen that she had clearly made a decision before the accident and that there's absolutely no reason for her to have changed her mind. her obsession over junho is indeed the only thing in track and remotely believable, but it's still weird, especially since it looks like she still considers hwayoung her mom. for some reason.
