Because this comment was saying we shouldn't blame ZW for dumping him, while I'm blaming both of them,ZW for dumping him and LXX for going on a date. I saw another comment below criticizing the ML for going on a date. Why would I reply to that when I already agree with it?
What's this gege apologist? Then are you jiejie apologist. I'm criticising both and you're criticising one person. I can see who's more of a normal viewer
Yeah, call him out for that too. I never said it was okay. I literally hated that scene. Why do some people act like if we criticize one thing the FL does, it automatically means we support everything the ML does😭
I thought the leads got close pretty quickly, so I expected the romance to move fast. Then the ML realized his feelings as early as Episode 9 but so many episodes have passed and there's barely been any progress. I know he hasn't made a move because of her promise and all but after all this time, he's still acting so normal. Maybe he doesn't like her that much. Like not even a kissing scene😭
If the grandfather had pressured the ML instead, he would've never left her. In most dramas where the FL's family opposes the ML, it's still the FL who initiates the breakup like in LBL. Zhouwan has already dumped him three times.
I know she had her reasons but he never did anything to hurt her. She chose to use him and drag him into the situation. We don't have coddled her so much just bcz she's the FL. She can learn and be better
The way I've been counting down the days for this drama, it'll be so funny if I end up not liking it. I'll probably still defend it because they're my dream pairing😭
One thing I have realized is that kdrama writers are writing storylines for dump people mostly. There are a lot…
There's a reason Kdramas are more popular. Besides having consistently good production and acting (though Cdramas have improved A LOT in those areas recently) dramas are entertainment at the end of the day. People watch them after a long day to relax. Some watch while eating or multitasking, esp international viewers who already have to read subtitles.
Simple stories often work better. One reason Kdramas became so popular is that they don't overcomplicate things but still manage to make them interesting. Dramas aren't everyone's whole life. Most people are just viewers, not hardcore fans. I've seen plenty of Cdrama fans admit they skip the political parts or rely on comment sections to understand them. The truth is, most people want dramas that don't demand too many brain cells but still entertain them to the fullest But I liked the ending of this drama tho. It wasn’t hard to understand
It's weird for sure but not wrong. They're not related by birth. This is lowkey the best trope to write forbidden…
It's not morally wrong because they weren't raised as siblings. It's not like one saw the other as family while the other had romantic feelings, and their parents aren't even married. While I'm not particularly fond of this trope, I do think bold and unconventional stories are refreshing
Nowadays, dramas don't even dare to do proper enemies to lovers anymore. Their enmity is basically being kindergarten academic rivals. That's cute but it's hardly enemies-to-lovers.
Watching the same sweet or safe relationships all the time gets boring. Different dramas should have different flavors.
But I can see why some people find it uncomfortable. That's why different tropes exist
I'm tired of seeing the same pseudo-sibling trope used repeatedly. Not being adopted or blood-related doesn't…

Maybe Chen Duling's acting just isn't my type. This is the fourth drama I've watched of hers and I still feel…
I swear X is not a real place😭It's like an alternate version of the world. In real life, women usually get more criticism while on X, men get cooked for everything. On there, a mid male actor gets treated like he killed someone but a mid actress gets praised to the sky
for people critisizing this, don't forget this show is an idol drama. In this kind of show, what matters more are…
This kind of plot works much better as a short drama where the main focus is romance, so the audience actually gets what they came for. Right now, it’s not delivering on the political side or the romance side
