what went wrong besides the casting of the fl ?

the first two episodes got me hooked, and I was ready to put up with the FL’s bad performance, but then the timeline changed and everything seemed rushed, and I skipped through everything but heejo’s scenes, a sweetheart, the only breath of fresh air in the entire show, why was her story discarded? why wasn’t she given a proper plot? she wanted to marry the ml but don’t nothing to execute that, then forced to marry someone else, but that was unfinished as well, wasted potentials honestly.

this kdrama was everything, the plot was immaculate, the twist at the end, the villain was predictable but I’m sure that was intentional, the dialogue was pure comedy, the squad was hilarious, and I loved their moments, we could’ve used more romance, and we could’ve used some character driven side plots, yes I know, the father for the ML, and the student for the FL, but it wasn’t enough, despite loving it, it wasn’t a 10, something is missing, and I can’t point it out for some reason
