What's the need to always make the best friend or partners fall in love with the female lead? It happened with POJ and his band of bandits, and now it seems to be starting with Han Mingxi. I mean, we already have the childhood friend who is also obsessed with the female lead but is apparently dead (I don't think so). Can't they just make them have more of a sibling-like love or something

SO FINALLY at the end of 23 we have the scene that i think end with the doubt of many people have about if the FL love the ML or is just Gratitude.
