I think others have already talked below but if it helps, here is another explanation for the title. I'm a native…
Hi em45, thank you so very much for that explanation, and for directing me to your response. It’s time for all countries to recognize cross-cultural viewings nowadays and adjust accordingly. I’m a major Viki tv watcher, and sometimes Netflix, but still Asian. Better storylines and sometimes, great acting. Glad you came along, because I’d looked at the word “Black” and could not find any immediate association. 🙏🏾💛All the best!

Reminded me of my grandkids and they are adults today. Parents still jostling for position. Dumb!
Right! And that stepmom aided division and a greater devide. Yes, loved how they weaved the backdrop of the child’s pain into the adult Ting’s relationships with bride and parents. Children wound up acting out parent’s craziness.

He took his riches and lived a good life
Absolutely. That is why I was disappointed with so much reflection. Time could have gone towards tying up such loose ends. it’s not enough for a follow-up series, so flush it out in real time, so to speak. That’s why I thought he simply landed somewhere and enjoyed his money.

LuQing struggled of course. But the story is more XiaoFan centered and we mostly see his point of view. Thus the…
All true, just thought it dragged. Perhaps rewatching from start to finish will alleviate that factor. Thank you for clarifying.

He took his riches and lived a good life
Because he wanted him XiFan to take the money and slay LuQing financially, but he would not. So he was done with him. He wondered what was it all about!

This was a very entertaining show, but reading the comments, progress in China for Gay Rights and marriage-letting it go forth on tv. Hell, I would have married LuQing. Loved both main characters and of course, Zi Yang kept me laughing. He did all the talking for LuQing. Glad to read they will be doing another show soon. Anxious to see their portrayal of new characters. was disappointed in Ep 12. Back history was fine, but too much reflection. Would have liked more of LuQing struggling with his losses and regrouping. Anyway, a rewatching for me.

Yes, supposedly two episodes, but only one aired. Are they making us salivate and crawl?🤬😂
Bloodborne has it, not me. I don’t see the link or too stoopid to find it.😂

Worthless for you, I found it exceptional. Okay, it's not at a level accessible to everyone. It's not a Thai series.
Very true

Agree! It’s not the best acting, but loved the ML and the plot. You hate the begging, needy azz family of XiFan, but I looked forward to each episode. I hate Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror shows; would put them down. Someone on this site, admonished me about that, because others DO enjoy them. They were right and I appreciated it.

Is today and Saturday
Thank you. The States were misled in thinking both would air today. Rascals. Saw a preview on YouTube.

Thank you Bloodborne! It’s available to some areas, but not in the States. It reads “Available today”, but we generally have to wait the next day.

What was the tactic behind XiaoFan bankrupting LuQing ?
For power and respect. To show, he may have been rural, but wasn’t stupid. LuQing was always on top-sexually and socially. XiFan has now flipped the script. Can’t wait to see the power dynamics in the last episode.

Lu Xin had no right to be angry with anyone, she didn’t any interest in Xiao Fan at all. Viki did a Switcheroo…

The cliffhanger ending! Ahhh!! Don’t tell me we are getting only one episode this week?! Why?!!This show is…
Isn’t WenXi trying to sabotage LuQing for using him to dump XiFan, during the mother’s visit? We need Ep 11 preview. I guess we saw enough.

Honestly, I think it’s going to be something like that... Bei Lu Qing thinks FanFan is a moron who’s easily…
Don’t think he sees him as a moron, or he wouldn’t have tried to educate him. He was against him dropping out of school, once established. He has info about LuQing’s finances he has not exposed to him. He’d tried to warn him a few times, but was dismissed. Some interesting scenes ahead.

😂😂😂J-atty, I’m with you, in some of your expressions. Would avoid the train, but punch them a few times. 😃 Within such a home, who just barges into one’s bedroom? I missed Fan’s money success. I recall him trying to invest, but unsure if transaction was completed. Ep 11, come quickly! Gotta see how kool Lu Qing handles this crisis and exposure.

If you’re looking for a series featuring one of the most dreadful families in the world of drama: welcome to…
I beg to differ. The series is all about “love.” It’s just “bitter-sweet”. Most families have users and manipulators, but I agree, you wanna punch every member in Xi-Fan family. I imagine Lu Qing is filled with rage, unable to be his authentic self, playing a role for Mom and Dad. The next two episodes should be explosive.
