In the novel Yeli was pretty simple character who just wanted to live in peace but in the drama Yeli is very complex. Hence, the novel has nothing to do with the drama.

But I feel like this is the first historical drama which is not draggy in the beginning. Everything is so engaging. I often end up discontinuing some dramas because there beginning are so slow but here it is quite fast in 5 th episode we already got to see the ml's POV. THAT'S GREAT
