I first discovered Lee Jung jae through his role as Seong Gi hun in Squid Game, and I just felt so connected to his role and fell in love with him. It wasnât even because of his looks at first, I was completely captivated by his acting and how he brought Gi hun to life with such fragility and humanity. after that, I went on to watch him in many other roles, and that's when I truly realized what a phenomenally versatile actor he is. he completely transforms into every character he takes on and put his whole heart into it! I also realize just how stunningly handsome and attractive he actually is! a true beauty! It is no surprise that he won an Emmy and became a global icon after Squid Game. it was well deserved and highly justified.
Beyond being a phenomenal, charismatic A-list actor with legendary achievements, what truly sets him apart from other Korean actors is the unique aura that surrounds him. he literally radiates light, endless kindness, and a heartwarming cuteness that shines right through his eyes. every single expression, every line he delivers, and every character he portrays is done to absolute perfection, with such profound sincerity and truth.
To me, Lee Jung jae is a once in a generation talent. I wish him continuous success in showing the world what a larger than life actor he truly is. may he keep shining bright in all his future projects, both as an actor and a director. most importantly, I wish him abundant health and endless happiness.
It's okay to disagree, but thereâs no need to be rude or dismissive by calling my opinion 'nonsensical'. we clearly have different tastes in what makes a good romcom, and that's fine, there's room for all opinions here.
I think it's a low quality romcom with poor writing (not surprising considering the writers are just starting out, you can really sense the amateurism). It focuses on typical, kitschy romcom formulas, glitter, and viral moments, which sells and is what most romcom fans love , but in my opinion, itâs superficial and forced. there are high quality romcoms that move forward with a good story, depth, and high level acting. in my view, thatâs definitely not the case here. Even the chemistry between the lead characters that many people liked. I didn't connect with it because, again, everything between them feels forced and overly dramatic. thereâs no proper balance or emotional depth. the comedic moments are too ridiculous and childish, and the dramatic moments are just too muc( the FL cry a lot.) this might seem like a harsh opinion to people who love mrn, but this is my honest opinion.
Thanks I thought to be the only one to be annoyed by the aggressiveness of the two leads and the total coldness.
I'm not sure it's just the fandom. I also think this romcom focuses on selling the audience viral, formulaic, and flashy moments, and it works well on the viewers. you can really feel how hard they're trying.

Iâm not sure I understood what you meant by aggressiveness , but I definitely see something forced, overly dramatic, and exaggerated in their relationship. Something about them feels unbalanced. Thereâs no real emotional depth between them.
He's such a grest actor! I absolutely loved him in Nice to Not Meet You. I love how he pulls off comedy so convincingly and effortlessly, stylish without being ridiculous. Thatâs something many actors tend to struggle with in comedy.
I totally agree with your review. the thing is, i thought it was bad from ep 1. i only wanted to give it a chance just because how great ljy was in her previous romcom.
It doesn't really get better. At this point I even think FL's previous drama about an actor and a journalist was…
exactly! the age gap wasn't an issue for me at all because their chemistry was so good and that even without the big missing part that almost every romcom have (you know what i'm talking about i just to won't to make spoliers). the thing is that most of the romcom lovers like the cliches romcon and love to see a romance between young people. ntnmy was about a mature love. it's not the cup of tea of everybody. I prefer mature love.
every single time, I fail to understand the hype and compliments this romcom gets. this is how you don't make a romcom! the writing is amateurish and lazy, relying on clichés instead of bringing emotional depth and originality, which makes it fall flat into superficiality. People love the chemistry between the main couple? I didn't see any chemistry there, everything between them felt forced, their relationship wasn't built in a logical or good way, and I just don't see the visual compatibility between them. the comical parts was too much, the dramric parts was too much. there was no balace.
How easly romcom can be popular the qulity in romcoms doesn't matter, let's just gives the viewers flashy, entertainment moment , put it in netflix and we are a succssesđ
