So.. I'm Aussie.. and mullets are back in... And I hate it... So... Just for a little I'll put this on the back burner... His hair is giving 80's Australia footy mullet mania.... 🙏❣️
So he tends to say it just after Xiao Fan does something that makes it very hard to resist... And by god you can…
It's very subtitle... But you can see his reaction to the leg touch. Well at least that's what I interpret it as. I had to rewind to check why he would even say that
Ok think it is time... Adding Bittersweet Love to the list... Mature Dark, Red Flag BL [Yaoi] Collection - Boy Love https://mydramalist.com/list/1yy5red1
Why that ML keeps telling " You did that intentionally"? to the soft guy? I don't understand the part.…
So he tends to say it just after Xiao Fan does something that makes it very hard to resist... And by god you can see his struggle through so many interactions. The first time Xiao fan after his hand is uncuffed. Reaches out and pets his leg in a very needy manner. So that's when he says you did that intentionally.. The second time Xiao fan is coming to the dome after his mother told him he has to ask Lu Qing to help his brother with getting a better job. Lu Quig knows right away why he traveled in the rain to deliver soup, and even brings up Xiao Fan brothers work issues before Xiao fan could. He has to help Xiao Fan change our of wet clothes after the rain and that's when he says that line again because he thinks he is manipulating him lightly. Not upset just telling he is aware. I think Xiao Fan is innocent in most the of moments, but parts of me wonders just how smart is truely is with the way he is investing so much time in making Lu Quig happy, I think he does like him. He is very much a more submissive character.

I know what you mean. I did get love prize (remained for new audiences - to Finder) in paper back. But that was a one off buy. I get a lot of mangas now off Amazon Kindle. Much cheaper.

Oh man I had that happen to me too. Lost a lot of manga. I did go out a buy a few i did like. But I was hard to recall every name. Yes I am watching payback. But haven't read the manhwa. I feel I need to now. This is a fan video of love prize. https://youtu.be/H-SJct1fu9g?si=43IyKuua5BhyzIMX

Oooh my all time favourite is a bit of a oldie, but I do hope one day they will make a live action of it. You're My Love Prize in Viewfinder. Ultimate mafia toxic romance hehe. The uke is a bit of a bad ass too. Love him. He is a reporter that gets captured by a mafia boss. Then more recent Manhwa's - Painter of the night. Omg amazing... And recently got made into a live action.

For sure, you hit the nail of the head with that one. If his character has no growth it would be waisted potential. But given we are 3 EPs in we do have time. But I do feel I need to say be ready for a slow burn towards that emotion growth with him. I can't comment on what someone would survive in real life. The human spirit is a amazing thing and I don't want to comment more then that on rl. ❤️❤️❤️

I totally understand where you’re coming from, and it makes total sense why that frustrates you. But looking at Xiao Fan's specific psychology, his behavior is actually a very realistic portrayal of deep-seated trauma. When a gentle soul is verbally abused and used as a financial ATM by their own flesh and blood for their entire life, they don't just develop 'guts' overnight. In psychology, I think it is called the fawn response, when you have no power, compliance is how you survive. Add to that the 1990s setting: he’s a rural farmer boy in a massive, overwhelming city environment. He has no safety net, no financial freedom yet, and a culture that heavily beats down on rebellion against elders. Standing up and protesting sounds easy on paper, but to someone in his shoes, it feels like jumping off a cliff. That’s why his submissive, gentle nature isn't just him being a punching bag; it’s his default mode because no one has ever given him a safe space to be anything else. I do indeed expect to see some character growth but for now I can see where he is coming from. Xx
