This series has absolutely gripped me from the very first episode. It pains me that there has been such a negative feeling swirling around since the broadcast of episode 13, mainly because some viewers feel that it doesn’t meet their expectations of what should be happening. I think I realise partly why this is happening. The label ‘BL’ has been applied by many to this drama. The platform broadcasting it is famous for it’s ‘BL’ content (as well as other queer content). As far as I am concerned, nothing about this production is ‘BL’. first and foremost, it is a drama centred around the relationship of two people who happen to be male. The additional storylines mirror and dissect the ‘BL’ industry but it doesn’t contain any of the usual ‘tropes’.
The 16 episode run, the cinematography, the original soundtrack, the chemistry of the two leads, the locations and ultimately the storyline itself, set it apart from what we usually expect from ‘BL’ productions.
I am trying to view it through a different lens - it is a high quality drama which has clearly been deeply planned and written (all of the subtle imagery and dialogue, use of colour, imagery, soundtrack).
Perhaps if we don’t think of it as a ‘BL’production, we may start to view it for what it really is and our expectations change accordingly.
Much love………

I watched till ep 2 only and am wondering why is the second couple there? I have been skipping through their scenes.…
The second couple are remaking the movie that launched Qing Lang and Shi Yuhao….it represents what happened to them 7 years before.

wait did i miss something? In ep 6 they were beefing, having a cold war. But suddenly, they got together in ep…
Episode 7 is set two months after the events of episode 6. In the first hotel scene Qinglang says to Changyang ’How could I ever have said I regretted meeting you’ and when the cake is delivered they talk about the limits of not being able to see one another. Even although Qinglang was angry that Changyang posted the footage, they are clearly deeply in love with each other.

Ep 5 - that certainly wrung the emotions…….. I feel melancholic after watching this. I just want to hug Fourth and tell him it will be okay. This was by far the most emotional episode. Just as it seems they are getting closer, God gets in the way! Not sure how they will wrap everything up in one more episode. 10/10 for this one!

Does anyone know the name of the track playing during the end credits? I’ve tried everything and can’t find it (maybe it’s mentioned in the credits but I don’t speak Korean)……
