can we all please STOP fighting about whether they are ship-able or not?!
People have different perspectives, and respectfully, no one has the RIGHT to judge them for it..
If someone thinks they are brothers - good for you!
If someone thinks they are friends and ship-able - good for you too!
One thing I wanna make clear is that they TRAINED under Haiqi and are orphans..it's like joining a sports academy and training under a coach..
At least we all can agree that the bond they share is special and they really care about each other, and are ready to die to protect each other..

One thing I have noticed is how Haixia's eyes convey feelings for Hai Yan more than he speaks..

It's true Haixia is dead..Zhang Haiqi buried him in the cemetry herself..and the whole description of the scene IN THE NOVEL was a tear-jerker for me..
Those scenes of the trailer could either mean:
flashbacks or,
They changed the story line completely for the sake of the fans' sanity..
Furthermore, Ding Yu Xi has a main role here, which further confirms my doubt that Haixia would appear in the drama further..

IF we go strictly according to the novel, Hai Xia is dead and Zhang Haiqi buries him in the cemetery (chapter 38 of the novel is what was shown in ep 10) and does not come back as far as I have read the story
But since the trailer implied he comes back, let's see where this goes

he's dead..Zhang Haiqi buries him in the cemetery... that is a major plot device for Haiyan's future actions for vengeance..

he and Zhang Haiqi will meet with the The Mystic Nine in order to defeat Mo Yungao to rebuild the Archives..
no mention of Hai Xia after that...if you are curious you can search up for the novel online..
