I hate the constant “staring straight at the camera” shit. It was nicely done at the end of episode 1, meng ziyi looked so badass that time but it’s occurring way too much now.
This is my only issue so far. Most dramas lately have such weird editing and pacing that this one seems actually pretty decent so i have no complaints regarding that honestly. The visuals are also so perfect! But i wish they’d stop making the characters look straight at the camera again and again.

I don’t go out of my way to look for news about them or check their popularity but swl is super popular in my place specifically bcz of go ahead, even non drama fans watched the drama haha. I hope the producers start accounting age gaps of the actors irl before casting, so many actors are available only for them to choose a minor to work with a man pushing 30s and vice versa. Hmh was the first one to sign the contract but he still ended up receiving most of the heat which is so unfair to him. These ppl take it as a chance to attack an actor they don't like instead of putting the blame in the right place

Someone in the review said Michelles acting is lacking compared to Daniels??? Be so fr. Watch the bts of this drama, she guided Daniel a lot. She is a veteran and seasoned actress who has wayy more experience than him. Daniel is a good actor within his own rights but sorry he doesn't compare to Michelle yet. Though I ended up dropping this drama cause the plot isn't my cup of tea, acting from both the leads were solid. And in no way was Michelle inferior to Daniel lol.
