Does Susu have a habit of trying to die? At this point, she's ready to sacrifice herself for the third time...…
Nothing matters to her more than her revenge and saving those girls. She's the most cruel to herself, I don't really think she's capable of loving someone else until she fulfill her goals. Dying is just of time for her, to be honest, if Ren Susu dies it would make so much sense 😂
Is it just me who felt so that zhang linghe was very disinterested in doing lovey dovey scenes with wang churan…
From what I saw he's actually the one who's always taking the first initiative cause Churan is shy to do so and based on her past actions with her other male leads, she barely do the first move, even with Cheng Lei who she's most comfortable with she always let him lead the skinship and just go follow with the flow. They actually look like they're having fun tho and they're just working anyways, no need for this bitterness 😂
Can tomorrow's episodes come faster??? This drama is gonna be the death of me, Ren Susu is so freaking cruel to herself, like baby I know you want your revenge and you want to save people, but what about yourself? Stop dying for someone else!!!
🙄 I swear some people are just overdoing it, hating on overdo for every little thing. Some people are just…
I'm watching this with my siblings and whenever something tragic happens we'd look at each other with an open mouth, it's so exciting, can't wait for tonight's episodes, Susu is on her mission to die again 🤣. Ren Susu is now my favorite character of Wang Churan, she's much ruthless than Liu Miantang (Miantang really let me down, I barely saw her fight, kinda disappointed) and I'm so over her other characters who are all about loving a man, especially Ruan, she's the most pathetic, I hate her so much, it would be better if she's the one who got amnesia and not the ml.
Overdo is peak "Proud Simp" nonsense, and not the fun kind. The show wants you to believe it's a sweeping,…
I disagree, in Ren Susu's pov she didn't faked her death, she's really ready to die at that time, but was thankfully saved by her sister. She shot herself to let the police see that Qingyi already killed the murderer, she didn't know that he's not important to his family and no one truly care and protect him, all she know is he's a young master of a rich family. When she came back and saw the scar on his wrist she cried, apologized and say it's never her intention to hurt him, called her doctor friend to try fix his hand, but she can't really do anything more than that. She have a blood feud to finish which a big part of it is Qingyi, you're dismissing the fact that Susu saving Qingyi when they're still young brought her family to destruction (I'm not saying it's his fault). Her parents were killed and she was put in an orphanage where she suffered nonstop abuse, for me Qingyi going to prison for Susu is fine, he unintentionally paid for what happened to Susu's family because of him (tho lost lives can't really be paid with anything). She can't let love stop her from getting her revenge, so whenever he tries to ruin her plans no matter how much she told him to stop going against her way, she doesn't have a choice but to retaliate. Both suffered greatly with different result, someone who's craving for love and someone who's dismissing it. Wang Churan and Zhang Linghe did a great job portraying their characters, they brought Ren Susu and Murong Qingyi to life.
"Objectively speaking, I'm not denying that after he came home, the older brother was definitely the one who…
Ren Susu actually noticed his scar, remember she even called her doctor friend to try if it can be fixed, but Qingyi said he's a surgeon, he knows if it can be fix or not and he said it can't.
I'm late to the party, I've commented here three months ago saying this is one of my most anticipated drama, but I'm kinda busy, so it took some days before finally started watching it. I've seen so much hate regarding this drama, so it made me more interested to know where the hate is coming from. I really thought it's bad bruh, so it's surprised me a lot that it's actually not bad 😂. I've seen the things that people are hating, the AI, CGI, cinematography, background music, and some cringey lines, so while watching I've been waiting for those viral hate clips and to be honest, those clips only takes a little screentime, it doesn't even affect the story. I was laughing so hard at the plane memes, it was so funny, the cringey lines is already a given, I've already heard it on the trailer, I love it tho, I'm a sucker for those overbearing CEO lines 🤣. Also the sudden zoom in zoom out was funny, but didn't really bothered me at all, I don't know why I kinda love the overuse of background music (maybe it's because I grew up watching Disney, I love it when they interpolate the emotions needed through music 😂), I even anticipates it sometimes and when there's none it's kinda a letdown 🤣. Anyways, what really hooked me up is the storyline amd acting. I expected this drama as a republican drama to be abusive to the fl, you know? Those overused plot of republican drama where the Marshal somehow saw the young fl then got love at first sight, used every means to have her against her wishes and some even makes their supposedly loved ones as the mistress or concubine cause the ml needs a wife who's from a noble family. Overdo isn't like the usual republican drama! The fl is the one who have the upper hand, yes she have a hellish past, she suffered greatly, but the story doesn't revolved around her sufferings. The story is about her revenge and saving others, she have a power of her own, she's not oppressed and she have a group consists of women who are just like her, have good career and can stand on their own. Mind you, I watched this drama with contempt because of the viral hate clips just like I did when I watched I Heard You Like Me (that drama almost made me hate Wang Churan, I was cursing her so bad 🤣), but the more I watch Overdo the more ashamed I am for doubting it. Hook by hook I'm completely addicted, Ren Susu and Murong Qingyi's throwback was so sweet, it sets their foundation as lovers, they look so gentle and domestic before, just two lonely souls who finally found their home, how I wish they just stayed like that forever. The orphanage throwback was the turning point for me, it makes everything make sense, in between the two main leads, she's actually the one who suffered the most. Her past is the best example of what really happens when you're kidnapped, the only thing that didn't happened to her, yet is being raped and that's because Fang Mulan offered herself to save Susu. I applaud Ren Susu for not for giving up her purpose, she didn't yield for love and just focused on her goal knowing that she's not living for herself anymore, she owed her life to Fang Mulan and she won't stop until she gets her revenge. She stresses me out tho, in every mission her life is at stake, she could care less whether she lives or dies, girly really always thought if I die today at least I did something right ðŸ˜. Murong Qingyi on the other hand is such a pitiful man, no one ever loved him, he have two families who resent him, his brother dare not go against their mother, he can only show a little care to him, so when he met Ren Susu she immediately became his moonlight, the only one who truly showed him real love and care, so even tho it turns out Ren Susu somehow used him, accidentally framed him, he goes to prison for three years and was abused, ruined his tendons, so now he can't even do his dream job as a doctor, his only care is to know if she ever truly loved him for at least a second, but he doesn't really believe her anyway if she said she never loved him. He can't let her go, even a very little show of affection is enough for him to yield, he doesn't even hate him for going to prison, he hates her for abandoning him and for coming back as his brother's fiance. My man is so love-sick a simple touch from Susu is enough to coax him, whenever she kill someone he'll help her bury the body, so different from what they said before that he's a walking red flag and this drama is forced love, it's definitely not! Qingyi is willing to die for her, while Susu doesn't want to involve him and risk losing him forever, she can only push him away and act like she never loved him. To be honest, Qingyi knew she have her reasons on why she's doing what she's doing, he even offered to be her ally, he should just let Susu do what she wants to do and stop trying to ruin her plans cause whenever he tries to ruin it Susu doesn't a have a choice, but to retaliate and I can't blame Susu for that. She have lives depending on her, she can't let anyone ruin everything that they've worked for, if it's someone else I'm sure Susu would already order to kill that someone. Anyways, I'm so obsessed with their tragic love story, can't wait for more ðŸ¤
Do watch fireworks of my heart! One of my personal favs <33
Oh yes, I've already watched all her dramas and even her supporting roles, I just can't get enough of her. I love all of it except one, I kinda hate Love Heals, I hate it when the heroin continuously love someone who doesn't even deserve them in the first place. I hate Ruan, she's Churan's most pathetic character (I feel bad calling her character pathetic, but that's Ruan's personality 'til the end 😓). Liu Miantang is my most favorite character of her (aside from Yu Wanyin), she's so lovely, smart and strong, truly my perfect furen 😊
She's truly gorgeous that's a given, but damn those eyes, she really use them for her advantage. The way her eyes held deep emotions I can't but stare at her eyes so affectionately. She makes me feel emotions that I rarely feel whenever I'm watching a drama. She's really good at it, she completely won me over 🥺
I love Wang Churan I really do, but my goodness, I feel so frustrated watching this drama. She's way too high for the ml, character wise and not even his visual can go on par with her. The only drama of hers that I dropped after 10 episodes, not even her lovely visual can make me continue this one. I hate the fact that she loves him too much despite not getting an ounce of what she gave him, not even a basic respect. I can never, i wanna cry, my gosh Churan please never do this to me again ðŸ˜
I watched this for Wang Churan and honestly, Bai Xue Lu pissed me off sometimes, but I kinda understand where she's coming from. I'm so glad she turned out to be good towards the end. Also, the fl wasn't that bad come on, she's annoying sometimes but I find her bearable. She's cute too, so I don't get how they call her ugly, like ugly where?? Overall it's a nice story, I just don't think I'll rewatch tho, that's enough torment for me 😅
Okay I admit I was skeptical to watch this drama at first even tho I love Wang Churan cause this was supposed to be hated so much, so I searched for it on tiktok to watch some clips and see if the hate was unjustified and glad that I did cause it became a cult classic for me. The kind of drama I'll rewatch whenever I have nothing new to watch, I love the flow of Xu Qin and Song Yan's relationship, it might be dragging for anyone, but it's just the right pace for me. I love how they slowly managed to get back together despite of all the challenges they faced, I'm like a proud mom looking at them lovingly 🥹
One of the best cdrama I've ever watched, 40 episodes wasn't even enough. I love Liu Miantang so much she's my beloved baby (don't mention Luwen tho, I love her but she pissed me off sometimes 😂). I've finished this drama in three days, I swear I can barely sleep cause I want to finish it as soon as possible 😂
As a new fan of Wang Churan I'm eagerly watching her past dramas and I love them all, kinda bias towards How Dare You tho cause that's the first cdrama I've ever watched. She have like four upcoming cdrama and I'm getting so impatient, Hidden Shadow, A Ming Dynasty Adventure and Overdo are my most anticipated ones. I kept on getting reuters' clips of Overdo and I'm kinda so hyped, I don't even care about the story I just want to see her wardrobe (she's so pretty in them 😂). Anyways, I might find it disturbing cause I don't like abuse, but still gonna watch it hoping their relationship gets better.
Not really into cdrama, this is my first one to be exact, but I saw a clip of Yu Wanyin and she's so gorgeous, she made me rethink of my life for a second I'm actually baffled 😂. Anyways, a pretty face can really attract viewers, but what made me stay through the whole drama was their great acting, well-put story (it's truly engaging for me, I can't help but look forward to what the next episode would give me) and the chemistry between main leads was off the charts. I love watching them falling in love unknowingly, I love how Xiahou Dan care and love Yu Wanyin without a doubt, I'm so in love with them 😊
I can't even rate this crap 😓
