Why does everyone hate Faye so much? I really liked Blank (especially Season 2) and Broken of Love.
No, Faye was not the scriptwriter. I follow her, so don’t come with that. She shared her ideas with the scriptwriters, and they put everything together. Faye had the ideas and the vision, but the scriptwriters weren’t good enough to make it fully coherent or properly fleshed out. A lot of it stayed surface level.
If you think about it, it makes sense why some episodes got higher ratings than others. Some episodes were simply better than others. If I rated every episode 10/10 or 1/10, it would be a lie. I rated them based on how I genuinely felt about them.
I accept all opinions, both good and bad, as long as it’s not just plain hate. You should try doing the same instead of invalidating reviews you don’t like just because they’re not all praise. I treat a show as a show. I rate it based on how I perceived it, not based on my bias. That wouldn’t be honest to myself or to her and I won’t do that for anyone. Constructive criticism will also help her grow. You can always improve instead of staying stagnant because people weren’t honest enough out of fear of hurting someone’s feelings. Sometimes you speak up because you care about that person and want to see them do even better because they have the potential. But by staying silent about the things that weren’t as good, you don’t give them the opportunity to improve, because nobody dares to say it out loud.

That's your right. I still stand by my opinion. Unlike you, I'm not offended in any kind of way if we don't see eye on eye on this.
Faye has the vision imo but the script writers were not good. I hope she gets better ones for her next show. I'll keep supporting her as she is one of the few true LGBT actors and now entertainment owner. We have to support people from the community and not those big companies trying to do quick cashgrabs with low quality plot ideas. For a first show, it wasn't bad but it certainly wasn't a masterpiece as some of you like to claim.
Praise for Faye, the cast and the team. Not to script writer.

I don't watch many GL's since I'm very picky but I like Petrichor, Clairebell and Heart Code. I like shows with somewhat of a deeper plot.
Broken of love had a lot of potential to become better than them, unfortunately the script writers weren't good. The acting and cast was amazing though. Kudos to Faye.

For me it's not about hating but unbiased opinions. I watched the whole show and unfortunately, it wasn't good overall. Faye has the vision and talent but the scriptwriters were just bad.
After watching it twice (yesterday via livestream), I still come to the same conclusion:
Great idea, poor execution and script.
The show left so many things untold and rushed through so much. There was so much storytelling potential, but everything felt half assed just to move the plot forward. Nothing was really fleshed out, and many things felt very unrealistic (like Wit’s girlfriend suddenly running to Savior!Arisa after meeting her for two minutes) purely for the sake of the plot. The characters did not drive the story, the story drove the characters.
The revenge plot was completely pointless and a waste of screentime. There was no real villain except Arisa’s dad and Wit, which is fine, but some backstory for Mek would have been nice. Why was he so loyal? What pushed him to kill? We are told things, but nothing is actually shown. Everything is left for the viewers to fill in themselves.
Lalin’s aunt is suddenly no longer mentioned. The money laundering plot from Episode 3 is forgotten.
I could go on and on about what was wrong with the show, and this is just about the plot.
The romance was okay for a show like this. I didn't expect much there.
BOL is nice to rewatch for the fighting scenes. The rest is not really worth rewatching.
For a first show though, it was good. Faye can be proud of herself for pulling it off with a limited budget and no sponsors. BOL is still better than 80% of the GLs out there purely because of the plot idea and cast. The acting was superb.
Next time, please get better scriptwriters though. And also some sponsors. Faye has the vision, but she needs good scriptwriters to execute them properly.
The show gets a 5/10 from me after watching all episodes. And I'll write my review for EP8 later.
The best part of the latest episode was the Apasiri x Yarinda reveal. It made me scream!
Episode 6 was way too fast paced. It rushed through the marriage, the takeover, and the big reveal all in one episode, which left almost no room to actually feel anything. I wish they had let us sit with the emotions for a bit instead of speeding through everything.
I’d give the episode a 4/10. The biggest issue is definitely the pacing. If this show had 12-15 episodes, it could have had proper storytelling and buildup. I keep imagining what it could have been, and that’s what sucks the most because the show really had so much potential.
Kudos to Faye bringing in such a cast though. And did I mention Yarinda & Apasiri ?🫠
Puhhh, where do I even start? The way-too-convenient abuser? The wife who instantly ratted out her own husband? Or the blurred-out lovescene? A charity gala for victims of domestic violence, and suddenly Weiling’s assistant turns out to be an abuser. His wife immediately runs crying into savior Arisa’s arms and throws her husband under the bus. (Yeah, we won’t talk about how unrealistic that whole thing was.) Mek is definitely shady. I believe the auntie way more than him. he’s got some serious dirt. I love how Weiling managed to set Arisa up and walk away with 10 million baht 🤣 The proposal in front of the press wasn’t my thing, but the scene in the condo afterwards was beautifully acted by both Faye and Atom. The lovescene feels weird now because they blurred it. I get that they had to fix it after the original was taken down, but this wasn’t the right solution. The original lovescene was a straight 10/10. This censored version is like a 4/10 cause it just looks off. Overall, I give the episode a 6/10. With the original lovescene, it would’ve been a 8/10.
there is a hate campaign going on, not just here, but on youtube, imdb, and chinese sites, organized by those…
Not all criticism is hate. You will never find a show that hits all tastes and fans have to live with that. Critique is totally fine, hate isn't. Nor is rating bad on purpose okay. It's crazy and childish.
3 Episodes in and while the 3rd episode finally slows it down a bit the cuts were choppy and disjoined at times. The main couple falls flat to me. It's a shame it's not Arisa/Weiling. That would have been so hot. I feel like the show would have hit a 1000 times harder if it was more than 10 episodes. There would have been more time for a proper build up.
Highlight, Arisa kicking ass and the tension between Weiling and Arisa🔥
Acting is exceptional well. Everyone plays their roles amazingly.
It's not a bad show, it's the amount of episodes that is the cause of the rush. This kind of show really needs way more episodes and longer episodes.

Although Lalin being so forgiving is quite a bad example to girls out there😭 grow a spine.
This Episode deserves to win some awards🔥🔥🔥
Cast wise this show is top tier.

10/10 today!!!!
