I think I can safely say this drama has overtaken moonlight mystique for making me shed the most tears. I have been bawling my eyes out for these kids. The stories were so well written and YSX truly killed her role. CJK did really well too.

why r u being so rude. i watch cdramas and only watch them through netflix and youtube so i'm also not familiar with the production companies despite watching cdramas for years. its not that big a deal u dont have to be so harsh and rude

really? i thought cdramas have actually been huge successes these past 2 yrs. there have been tons of great releases and many ppl have said cdramas have become more interesting than kdramas these last couple of years

well i feel like the FL is tryna find the truth behind who poisoned her and is being cautious but at the same time is falling for the ML which is kinda a problem. he has what she needs and she knows that with her falling and trusting him that he might think she used him only for that. i think she's torn between her true feelings and what she needs to do as the "crown prince" of yaoguang so i would say try to analyze both perspectives and move on. their love story is one of the cutest sweetest ones ever and the ml is so shameless that its rlly entertaining. easily became one of my favs so certainly pls continue!!!

i will warn u that u might have to push till ep 10 when it picks up to truly see if u enjoy it. if not then maybe its not ur cup of tea

I agree cuz there have been dramas where both leads were underage and the chemistry was strong like a little thing called first love, and it seemed normal. I wish they had maybe at least tried something like that or found an of age actress(although ai mi did kill her character and was amazing), but its ok still a good watch, just kinda awkward for those who are aware of the age gap

I just wanna say one thing to people who watched this drama with very high expectations. I understand ppl have been waiting for this for yrs only for the story or choppy editing to not meet expectations. BUT I feel like its important to realize this drama was filmed and shooted years ago and was only able to air now. Thinking about it in this aspect, I found myself enjoying the drama a lot. It seems to not meet expectations cuz dramas that have been filmed recently have better plots and editing. But considering the time from which this was filmed, I think if it aired at that time it wud have different reactions and ratings than it being aired like 3 years later.

I loved this drama but I'm sorry the second couple stole the show for me. I love Bai Lu and did watch it for her but i ended up more invested in the second couple story. Dai lu wa has always been an underrated actress for me and her role in this drama was top notch. And chang hua sen played the diff between chong zhoa and mo li very well

I am so obsessed with this drama. I tried watching so many other dramas but always come back here idk i can't move on. Like pursuit of jade wasn't enough for me to get over this drama that's how bad my obsession with this drama is 😭

keep going most ppl who wanna drop it find it pick up a lot after ep 10 and end up loving it so hang on for a bit more if u can

there's been a lot of dramas with dropped ratings. i mean TTEOTM was 8.6 for as long as i remember but yes almost every cdrama has dropped in ratings. TFF, NES, KTPH, LBL, TLB, LLTG, LA, BOA, AOL, and LAR to name just a few of the many

Reset wasn't time travel it was like a time loop but yes Twelve Letters, Legally Romance, and a lot of historical like till the end of the moon, the romance of tiger and rose, story of kunning palace had time travel or time travel aspects

i believe it's main centered so romance isn't a big part. and i'm also pretty sure i heard that dai lu wa pair is not ao rui peng but actually bian cheng

well if there are stories that can be focused on ml and gives barely any time to fl then i think its fine if there's a story focused on fl and not ml

i wasn't the biggest fan of the first frost or never ending summer, but I don't think @littleberry09 was coddling wen yifan. they were just giving their input and I honestly do agree with their stance. i did feel like zhou wan was a little annoying with the back and forth regardless of if she had a good reason and while i was also a little irritated when wen yifan left sang yan, i rlly think she needed that space cuz sexual abuse is such a traumatizing experience. both of the fls aren't the strongest but i def wud say wen yifan felt a bit less annoying than zhou wan. this is just my opinion don't come at me because i don't like zhou wan like u do.

This drama isn't overrated. It genuinely has its charms, and yes I would say its cause ur at ep 9. It picks up a lot after ep 10 so i wud say wait.
