Actually i also wondered at that moment because i was expecting either a sad or a jealous reaction but it was none. Rather she was only concerned about why he is marrying a woman whom his elder brother loved.

I think this drama deserves at least a 7/10. I'd personally give it a 7.5 thats the highest i can give , 6.8 feels too low.

I started watching because of Zhang Linghe, but I ended up liking Wang Churan just as much. They look good as a couple. I just hope they get cast together again in a light-hearted rom-com, because I'd love to see them in a happy, fun story instead of another tragic one.

I just watched Episode 27. I wasn't expecting the second leads to kiss. I was also worried that Ren Susu would create problems when Qingyi told Le'an that he was his father, not his uncle. Thankfully, she didn't.

The only thing stopping me from seeing Ren Susu as a truly bold or empowered female character and stopped me from sympathizing with her even when she too has a traumatic past is the way she treats Qingyi. Seeking justice and loving the person who loves you don't have to be mutually exclusive. What frustrates me the most is how unnecessarily rude and cruel she is toward him.

In today's episode, she tells Murong Qingyi that he always makes decisions on his own, is stubborn, and didn't change. But isn't she exactly the same? In fact, she's the one who constantly decides what's best for him, believing she's protecting him. She keeps pushing him away despite knowing what he actually wants. Qingyi has never asked her to give up her revenge or her pursuit of justice—he has always supported her. He only wanted her to face it with him.

That's why her accusing him of making unilateral decisions feels hypocritical. What frustrates me even more is that Qingyi never points this out. The writers keep emphasizing that he's stubborn and controlling, yet they rarely let him confront Ren Susu about her own behavior. As a result, it feels like the audience is being told one thing while being shown another.

This leaves me confused about what the writers are trying to portray. Are they trying to show that both characters are equally flawed and toxic? Because that's not how it comes across to me. Their actions consistently make Ren Susu seem far harsher toward Qingyi. Yet she repeatedly says things like, "You can't be a good father," "Look at your family," "Where were you for the past six years?" and "You always make decisions on your own," even though she has done the same things—arguably to an even greater extent. I'm genuinely confused about what the writers are trying to achieve with her character.

I absolutely loved this drama. Light-hearted romance is one of my favorite genres, and this drama delivered exactly what I was looking for.

The story is good, but what I loved the most were the hospital scenes, when the fl used to go for her treatment and the ml took care of her. Those moments were so soothing and heartwarming. They created such a comforting atmosphere and became my favorite part of the drama.

I do feel that the female lead's mother's cancer storyline was a bit unnecessary. I also think that the fl extending her stay in Switzerland by 2 months was also unnecessary.

Even with those minor flaws, the overall drama is incredibly soothing. There are no major misunderstandings, unnecessary fights, or excessive melodrama. It's a refreshing and comforting watch.

I loved the main couple. Both the male lead and the female lead are beautiful and have great chemistry together. The male lead is a complete green flag, and the female lead is wonderful as well.

Overall, it's a 10/10 for me.

I watched up to Episode 26. I don't mind the cinematography or the use of AI at all, but I do mind the story.I feel the makers are confused. They are trying to show that both the male lead and the female lead hurt each other by involving the male lead in the death of the female lead's parents to make things seem even. However, what they actually show is that it's the female lead who hurts the male lead again and again.From the beginning until now, it is the male lead who has suffered much more than the female lead, and most of his suffering is because of her, not the other way around. The makers completely ruined Ren Susu's character. Even if the roles were reversed and it was the male lead hurting the female lead this much, I would say the same thing. They made me hate the female lead so much that she feels like the antagonist of the story. She never realizes her mistakes or acknowledges how hurtful her words toward Qingyi are. Instead, she only remembers the things he says in reaction to her actions and words, and then blames him.Qingyi has lost far more for loving her than she has for loving him. She hasn't even properly told him that she loves him. That poor guy is exhausted from constantly asking her, "Do you love me? What do you feel for me? Can't you say something nice to me?" And what's wrong with Qingyi? Why didn't he reply to her that even if he once said he hated her, didn't she see how he treated her before that? Time and time again, he put himself in the face of death to save her. It was also Qingyi who kept asking her whether she loved him, only for her to reply, "Just let go of yourself."What does she even want? Does she expect Qingyi to never react to her actions, no matter how hurtful they are? Enough is enough.How could she even ask, "Where were you these six years? I raised the child all by myself," when she never told him she was pregnant in the first place? She knew very well that he wasn't away enjoying a vacation—he was fighting in a war. Before leaving, he even stopped the car and got out to see her, but she had already left.And why did she blame Qingyi by asking, "What did you feed my child?" Why didn't Qingyi tell her that the child had brought the beans himself and had an allergic reaction? After all, why would Qingyi stop him from eating them if he didn't even know the child had a bean allergy?Apart from that, I feel it is absolutely unfair for the adult Ren Susu to judge, hate, or consider Qingyi responsible for her parents' deaths. Qing Yi said, "I never asked you to save me," while he was drugged, extremely traumatized, and still a child. I'm not saying those words weren't ungrateful—they were. But he was a child.Also, what has been shown to the viewers is that he said those words before her parents were killed. We don't know whether he would have said the same thing after witnessing her parents die because people were trying to kill him. So why is an adult Ren Susu judging the words of a traumatized child?What makes it even harder for me to accept is that whenever Ren Susu hurt Qing Yi, she was a fully grown adult and completely in her senses.Earlier, I made many excuses for Ren Susu. I understood her trauma and tried to sympathize with her character. But now, it has gone beyond my limit. I can no longer justify her actions or the way she keeps hurting Qing Yi. At this point, Qing Yi is the only person who would do absolutely anything for her. He loves her unconditionally. So I see no reason for her to keep hurting him or blaming him for her parents' deaths.There are still seven episodes left, and I sincerely hope the writers show Ren Susu feeling genuinely guilty and remorseful. I don't even remember if she ever truly apologized to Qing Yi for everything she put him through. And even if she did, I don't think it would be enough after everything that has happened.As a viewer, I want to see her experience deep guilt and remorse toward Qing Yi, because maybe only then will I feel some emotional closure. Right now, every new preview just gives me anxiety because all I see is Ren Susu hurting Qing yi again and again.Also, in Episode 26, when Ren Susu asked Qing yi who had saved him, he clearly said that he didn't remember. He said his memories were blurry, that he didn't know what had happened, or who had saved him. So it's obvious that he doesn't remember anything—not who saved him, nor what he might have said to that person—because he was just a drugged and traumatized child at the time.So I really don't understand why Ren Susu would hate him or blame him for her parents' deaths. To be honest, I don't even consider it a valid reason to hate him. Even before she knew that he was indirectly connected to her parents' deaths, she kept pushing him away for completely different reasons.That's why this revelation doesn't make me sympathize with Ren Susu at all. If anything, it only makes it harder for me to understand or justify the way she continues to treat Qing yi.Yes, I understand that the drama is titled Overdo, and it hasn't finished airing yet. So maybe there's a reason behind the title that will become clear later. At this point, though, it almost feels like the title refers to Ren Susu because she's overdoing it with the way she keeps hurting Qing yi.Or maybe the writers will make Qing yi even more lovesick in the remaining episodes, making him sacrifice even more for Ren Susu, and that's what the title Overdo is actually referring to. I don't know.What concerns me the most is that they shouldn't make Ren Susu's character so overwhelmingly negative. As a viewer, she genuinely feels more like the antagonist or a red flag than the female protagonist, and I don't think that's how the character is supposed to come across.
