Ok,I think I should said this,but Liu Haoran receives many offers,many directors want to work with him,but he is indeed kinda picky. He will reviewed the script that handed to him,if it's good and the crew is good,he will join the filming. But,unfortunately in the past years it seems that he didn't find it and he also want to acts in various role and not just stuck in repetitive character.

He is indeed a great actor,a versatile one but underrated among international fans,mainly he is not follow the route of traffic star. He is more like a traditional actor who will makes an appearance on public if he has promotion in movie or event,and will dissapear off public to enjoy his life. FYI,Liu Haoran acting debut was in movie,so after that he is focusing more on doing movies rather than dramas. Right now,he is #3 as the highest grossing box office in China. His movie series Detective Chinatown is one of the most successful IP in mainland China.
