This dramas premise sounds promising.

The build up was good.
The relationship setup was portrayed fine
The time jump just caused a lot of gaps. The characters grew and we got scraps of information. Couldn't grow with them

The second half.
How annoying first i was rooting for Jong hul and Jae pil. Because the character Young rye just annoyed me ,( maybe it was the actor). Then after that was a dead end . They couldn’t even give us a complete love story with Young ryes brother and Jong Hul. It seemed the ending was so rushed . And incomplete writing . I don't mind the friendship plot and adding some romance , but just complete the trope for all the characters.

I was really investing in Jong Huls story because it was so tragic, i think the fact that she was adopted was a beautiful second chance . But once again is that all that she was supposed to achieve? And her friend that she helped , and told her to run away got the only happy ending.
