FCY and AMBF are in the same universe. Timeline wise AMBF takes place after FCY.
Yuan Zhong (the white hair guy that showed up in eps 39-40) is the ML in AMBF. Wushuang is the FL.

You are correct. The 3 series are in the same universe, just different timelines. Fu Jiuyun also showed up in A Moment But Forever. Fu Jiuyun was born from a Spiritual Lamp that Wu Shuang made.

I so agree with your comment! The script is really bad. There are so many illogical sections and plot holes. So frustrating!

Just ignore all the plot holes and enjoy the eye candy.

An observation for those who watched both FCY and AMBF:
In FCY I thought it was hilarious when Yuan Zhong was telling the FL to chase after the ML. He said to go after the ML even if he runs. Be thick skinned and persistent in her chase. This is the same technique Ji Tayin/goddess Wushuang used towards Yuan Zhong in AMBF, during their initial relationship. He didn't trust her, so was always trying to get away from her. She insisted she will stay with him forever.

I have the same question. Why does he have white hair in FCY? It doesn't make sense.

A moment but forever is after Fate chooses you. I thought it is before as well because Yuan Zhong has white hair in FCY. I thought it was an older Yuan Zhong. But it is only a style change. I don't know why they did that.

I thought AMBF came first too, but it is after FCY. AMBF takes place about 20 years after RCY. It was confirmed when Yuan Zhong (ML of AMBF) showed up near the end of ep 39. He just recently got out of the cave (his prison for the past 40 years). He still had the "chain" around his neck. What confused me about the timeline was his white hear. He did not have white hair in AMBF.

It is a happy ending. Even with his memory gone, he is still the same person. He fell for the FL once, he'll fall for her again.

This may be his tribulation. I hope he gets a good ending.

She's trying to push him away. If she showed him a bit of kindness, she'll never get rid of him.

I don't know about Love of Thousand Years, but A Moment But Forever takes place BEFORE Fate Chooses You. The fallen ship they found in episode 17 of Fate Chooses You was originally blown up by a "terrorist" attack in A Moment But Forever. That's why it was abandoned in the desert.
