Just here to ask if it got better or worse. I only watched ep 1 which bore me😩. It’s kinda painful considering…
I will be very objective, it doesn’t get better, somehow the quality only goes down.
I feel like since we also seen Barcode and Jeff act with others in different projects, their chemistry in wooju is atrocious.
Plot is terrible, the entire set design and production is so cheap, its on the same level as Love is Like a cat-slightly better, the comedy is also bad, only thing saving this serie is the fact that there are two big Names attached to the serie (Jeff, and Also Barcode)-thats the reason people are actually trying to defend this serie. I have seen much better comedies, with less budget than this.
good thing, I didnt wait for this, when Barcode decided to move from this serie in 2024, I did too.
so my expectations were already low, but If you have time, you could watch it, otherwise there are plenty of better shows out there to watch.

BL fans will defend anything just cause their faves are in it lmao. It's ok to say this show was a mess. Why are…
finally someone said it.
Before it was out they were glazzing this serie, after the reality hit, they switched the tune…I love both of them, but this serie should have never seen the light of the day. But bl fans only want to see them Kiss, since Barcode was a minor back then, thats why they are trying this hard.

Damn, the acting here is… I don’t know what they fed to Barcode during DFF that he was so good there
The lack of chemistry was difficult to ignore, especially considering that Barcode had only just turned 18 at the time. The kiss scene felt uncomfortable and unsettling rather than natural.
What is even more troubling is how easily some people overlook the fact that it involved an 18-year-old and a 30-year-old man. The sexualized commentary that followed often seemed less about the work itself and more about projecting inappropriate fantasies and personal fetishes onto a very young person.

People may say that I am being overly critical of this drama, but in my view, it is genuinely disappointing. I understand the argument that it is intended to be a comedy and therefore should not be taken too seriously. However, even when judged within that genre, it falls short.
The production quality is weak, and the language barrier further disrupts the viewing experience. In particular, the decision for Barcode’s character to speak different languages to different people seemed unnecessary and added little to the story.
I have also seen some criticism directed at viewers who left negative reviews, but I cannot fault them for their reactions. Many fans presented this series as something exceptional and well worth the wait, yet the final result feels quite the opposite.
I am, however, glad that both actors have reached a point in their careers where they no longer need a series like this to define their success.
