Only watching this as a fan of Meng ZiYi.

Only watching this as a fan of Meng ZiYi. Why are there so few good story tellers without stupid amazing poisons and antidotes? Then add some amnesia in the middle to complicate things. New characters introduced in the middle to make this even longer. The plot seems haphazard. But it wasn't all bad as it started out promising. Too bad it got worse and worse and became tedious. i fast forwarded alot of the episodes and still didn't miss much or care too much anymore. Rewatch value low. I'm up to episode 26.. but still have to finish it. :-)

Thoroughly entertaining, kept me wanting more.

For me, it started out rough the first couple episodes.. i actually stopped and restarted the first episode a couple of times.. but after getting through the initial building of the backstory, it got better and better as the story went along, kept getting more entertaining and kept me wanting to watch the next episode all the way through to the end. I can't say the same for many other series that either disappoint halfway through or has a lousy ending but this one is recommended.
