It's not confirmed yet by the official handles but I believe they left Dong Ju and Go Ya's story sidelined because they want to bring that up in the next season.
I am not sure yet if those pictures are from deleted scenes or a hint for season 2.
Since they kept the story incomplete and next novel name secret I guess there is part 2.
Let's see if they make an announcement within 3 or 4 months or not.

We'll see the results after 3 or 4months.
Eui Ju isn't graduated yet btw.
Also after reading Cha Hak Yeon's ig post caption I felt like they have season 2 in mind.
Also in a scene clip posted by coupang play in their ig says 🎤: what story do you want for our writer's return?
Some bts pictures are posted by casts seemed like those were F4 teacher's college day pictures.
But in S1 we didn't see any scenes with those fits.
Prime video Singapore posted a caption saying, "When the time is right, will we see our Usu and Eui ju together?"
Also one of their cameraman asked in a caption, "when is season 2 coming?"
So it might be who is overthinking or they are really planning a season 2.

Why do I feel like the whole drama is her novel portraying her life and now she is in University,
At the starting intro i saw a picture of ga u su in a white suit and seemed like that was shi on so i thought maybe it can be a story of her.
Because that scene in white suit still not shown in the drama.
