Both story focuses on a senior and a subordinate working together uncovering all the messy tea and drama around them, while also discovering their love for each other. Both Tae Seon and Kaburagi have a cold attitude in the earlier parts, then became endearing towards the end. The Prosecutor's Proposal is just way darker and complex with the delivery of its story, as opposed to Candy Color Paradox's lighter and funnier delivery, albeit it going a similar, but slightly less dark turn towards the ending as The Prosecutor's Proposal.
Similar university setting, with both leads being from different departments but somehow stumbling their way into working with each other.
Both involved in messy crimes and situations and managed to get a fresh start (yes) at the end. One of the characters from both series are orphans too.
Same nepo baby who fell for his subordinate trope. Ji ho jun and shang zhou both work for their families' companies where they met their subordinate whom they fell in love with. They also both share this cold and superficial personality, which then changed throughout the series.
Bu xia needed jiang chi for ghost protection, and dong uk needed do hyeon because he couldn't sleep. The only difference is that dong uk loved the dude years before, while bu xia fell in love afterwards.
