Doesn't deserve the hate!!!
I really don't understand the hate for this drama tbh. Is the story a little predictable? Sure, maybe it is, but its far from bad either! It has some really strong beats and personally, I really enjoyed it. Song Kang and Kim You-Jung have insane chemistry with each other. They are literally one of the cutest couples I've seen in KDrama so far and I absolutely love the progression of their relationship. The romantic scenes are passionate and sweet and in my opinion, well executed. Personally, Song Kang nails the role of Gu-Won; he's cold and prickly, but he's also sweet and romantic. Threatening, but also a little bit goofy. And he switches it up so easily and naturally, it doesn't feel jarring or out of place. Kim You-Jung is amazing as Do Hee - especially in EP15. Girl had me crying over Gu Won as if he was my own boyfriend. And don't even get me started on the supporting cast!! They were all fantastic too. Just give it a go guys. Tropes and all, it's a fun watch and dosent deserve to be bombed - not everything has to be a sweeping masterpiece to be enjoyable.Was this review helpful to you?
