If Pio is doing all of this only because he feels guilty and wants Jeongyo’s forgiveness he should stop already😭. Jeongyo has either genuinely forgotten his past or is pretending not to remember it which means he is living happily in his current life and may not want those painful memories back. Pio reminding him of his past doesn’t make any sense unless he truly loves him and intends to make him happy going forward.
Also Pio getting Jeongyo’s forgiveness and then marrying Jaein and moving on wouldn’t change anything for Jeongyo. he loved pio so much in the past but now he is already living a better and happier life without him. Why bring him back into that pain just to ease his own guilt?
The kiss between pio and jaein feels so unnecessary and doesn’t make sense especially because it happened when Pio was emotionally unstable thinking about Jeongyo😭
And I am giving this show 1 star if we don't get a kiss scene of pio and jaein in ep 6 and their beginning of…
Exactly. Even in the episode 6 preview she asks him when he is going to marry her, but his response is “Aren’t you tired of asking me this question? You should stop it by now” it means he was never in love with her even after 10 years.
The theory that Jeongyo might turn dark doesn’t really make sense to me. He literally said “If I had to be the kindling for him to spark, then I’ll do it a thousand times” that means he’s willing to sacrifice himself for Pio. So I don’t think he would believe that Pio was behind his kidnapping and even if he somehow found out that Pio was involved I don’t think he would turn against him or become angry with him. He loves Pio way too much.
People keep saying it’s “just friendship” but they clearly added queer elements to this drama. The way they look at each other especially Pio, the way pio sulked when jeongyo asked why he wanted to stay in his room and the way he reacted after seeing the underwear on the bed, he even lit candles in entire room when he could’ve simply lit them around the piano.
Who would think of a friend they’ve known for only three months when asked, “Who do you treasure the most” instead of their own father? and then Pio’s grandfather literally tells him “Now you understand who will sacrifice the most in this relationship".
I know close friendships exist but this stuff feels more intimate than what friends usually do with each other.
