It's Peem, 100%. He's the one that get's shot, though whether he dies or not is up in the air, I think he'll probably get rushed to the hospital and survive. We know that Lene doesn't die and we know that Rann survives this because AI Girl is set after this ends, and Rann gets a phone call from Grace in the first episode, and she's alive, still with Lene, and they're together in both a romantic and professional sense still. (Grace calls them to ask if they sent her a fully functional and anatomically correct female android without warning her... for some reason.)
