Ikr, if they got the copyrights early we wouldn't be in this situation. They tried changing names when new laws appeared but it still didnt help. During the long shelved years most of the casts broke out in popularity. They probably realized what a goldmine missed opportunity they were sitting on and did their best to unshelf it by buying rights, doing negotations, maybe re editing too, idk. I doubt they'd have put in so much effort for a 3 yr old drama otherwise.
