I really don't understand others who say that jjy doesn't know how to act. Like... have you actually watched her…
I'm sorry if I'm randomly sharing this, but people constantly nitpicking her acting really gives me the ick. Constructive criticism is one thing, but some people act as if repeating "she can't act" somehow makes it an objective fact. Just don't mind me guys 🤣
I really don't understand others who say that jjy doesn't know how to act. Like... have you actually watched her dramas? Although I'm a new fan and only discovered her through VOS, she got me hooked so fast. Tbh, I've never been the type to stan celebrities or actors, but she's the reason I became interested in the world of cdramas.
The way she portrays different characters, conveys emotions through subtle expressions, and completely immerses herself in every role is what drew me in. Not every performance has to be loud or overly dramatic to be effective. Sometimes the strongest acting comes from the smallest details, her eyes, her expressions, her body language, and the way she delivers emotional scenes.
Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but saying she "can't act" feels like an unfair oversimplification especially when she's delivered so many memorable performances. It's perfectly fine if her acting style isn't your preference but that doesn't automatically mean she lacks talent. If she was truly as bad as some people claim,I highly doubt she would've built such a successful career or gained so many viewers who genuinely appreciate her work.
At the end of the day, she didn't just make me a fan of her—she made me appreciate an entire genre I never thought I'd enjoy. That alone says a lot about the impact she has.
Because I was curious about this c-drama plus Ju Jingyi is the female lead here, I started reading the manhua and I can say this is my cup of tea. I really like intelligent strong female leads and mission type of stories. I love how Su Luxia punished those scumbags without mercy at all 🤣🤣🤣 Each arc has a different story and it was difficult to solve but xiaxia is different, she is very smart and she always has a counter attack. I am at chapter 410 now and so far the pacing of the story is good.
Damn this drama really got me on chokehold 😠I'd rewatched this 3x and I still feel the excitement as if I'm watching it for the first time. The cast is great at acting plus the visuals are holy fine shyt. The four main leads have good chemistry with each other, I love the JiLu couple the most I don't know, but the chemistry between them is so beautiful that even just holding their hands feels like I'm being electrocuted with excitement. So far, this is the CDrama that even though months have passed, I still can't move on. The OST was beautifully written and because of this, I couldn't move on, so I searched for the playlist on Spotify and made it my bedtime song 🤧
