I need a space for my mental thoughts. I was really excited about the lead actors for this show, with a female director too. Like I get it, not all cdrama are romantic dramas but really this could drama could have done better with more of this love trope, the longing, tension and spark between the main casts were close to none, it really made it seem as if the co-stars had poor chemistry.
However even though without the romance, the screen writer did a great job with the story, everyone had their own backstories, arc, and growth. I really appreciate this in a drama, but what really threw me off were the first 20 episodes was it just me or the director didn’t film enough clips or something and like it was so sparatic and disjointed between lots of scenes. There were lots of moments that didn’t flow and you just had to accept that just how is it, too many jumps in the beginning. The last 20 episodes were okay though, I still think this could have been such a better drama with the longing, tension to add more spice
