This drama is one of the best Korean crime thrillers I have ever watched. From the very first episode, the story grabs your attention with its unique concept of detectives from the past and present communicating through a mysterious walkie-talkie to solve cold cases.
The greatest strength of this drama is its writing. Every case is carefully connected to the main storyline, and each new revelation raises the tension even further. The pacing is excellent, making it difficult to stop watching because every episode ends with a cliffhanger.
The performances from main leads are outstanding. Their emotional acting makes every case feel personal, while the chemistry between the three leads remains compelling despite two of them never meeting face-to-face for much of the story.
This drama also explores corruption, injustice, and the consequences of altering the past. Many of the cases are inspired by real-life incidents, making the drama feel even more realistic and emotionally impactful.
The only frustrating part is the ending. While it is powerful and leaves room for hope, it also feels open ended, leaving many viewers wanting more. Even so, it does not diminish the overall quality of the series.
