oh my god! louder on the NC part!!! it really pisses me off how people see through every other good aspect of…
True! Personally, I watch drama or series to explore various lifestyle and life pattern of certain group and this show did justice in portraying a pair of guys (who apparently are bar owners and just met recently) loving one another and trying to maintain their relationship by giving spice through it and stuff.
I wouldn't say these are corns but, the same director has made The Playboyy and Peach Lover (if I remember it correctly) which has plenty NC scenes in it
I just made an account to leave a comment here. The series technically shows two bar owners's love story and yeah, as simple as that. Living their life and enjoying each other company that REALLY CLICKED! That's the thing and the charm of this series to me.
I watch this series through Gagaoolala and one thing that I find quite disturbing is the subtitles (the English one as I am not sure what's going on in other language). If I have no clue about Thai language I would've get lost coz' in several scene they will add (an explanation of the jokes in Thai or somethin') but they keep mistranslating the referral as in I or You (well sometimes he and she too). Technically, it is the basic things that need A LOT, I mean A LOT of attention.
For example, in the first EP at the convenience store. There's this sentence, "ไม่บอกน้องอ่ะ" said by Eung which supposedly means "You're not telling me (to be exact 'this little brother's)". But they translate it into "Not telling you" instead. That's a siren to me that I can't really depend on the subtitles.
Another thing is the cultural differences. The jokes won't always hit the right point of every single person. As you know, humour code of each individuals are different.
I see too many 'unconstructive' hate comments below and in the review section. Are you under 13? Can you be wise at leaving a comment that is archived online and publicly visible to everyone? You can criticize a show. That's true but I don't think it's nice to be offensive by saying things inappropriate.
And if you want an NC that much, watch corn instead. They'll give you full course. I know that we have this type of series that people said 'shows a good NC'. Well, you can watch that show instead. As simple as that.
I'm starting to get a bit too emotional so let's stop it here.
