There are mostly soft drinks. (With different fruit flavor.)
In Thai these drinks are normally sell in school. Probably because it make us refresh from very hot temperature. (But, in these days, it depend on each person. Many students now concern more about their health and try to avoid these kind of drink or change to the zero sugar soft drinks.)
So I can confirm that this is common in real life. (Out of these soft drink, others that popular are bubble tea, thai tea, etc.)
