Gangnam beauty
I had high expectations for My ID Is Gangnam Beauty because I had heard so many good things about it. While I don’t think it’s a bad drama, I ended up feeling disappointed by the overall execution. It has an important message about beauty standards, self-esteem, and how society judges people based on their appearance, but I don’t think it explored these themes as well as it could have..My biggest issue was the female lead’s character development. Kang Mi-rae spends most of the drama lacking confidence, constantly worrying about what other people think of her. Considering everything she went through before college, her insecurity is understandable. However, after sixteen episodes, I expected to see much more growth. Instead, her development felt very slow, and there were many moments where it seemed like she was repeating the same mistakes over and over again. It became frustrating because I kept waiting for her to become stronger and more independent, but that change took far too long.

A Beautiful and Emotional Masterpiece
This is my favorite drama of all time, and I honestly couldn’t find a single flaw. Every episode was beautiful, emotional, and unforgettable. The story was incredibly well written, and it kept me interested from the beginning to the end. The characters felt real, and I became attached to all of them. The acting was outstanding, the chemistry between the main leads was amazing, and the soundtrack made every emotional scene even more powerful. This drama made me laugh, cry, smile, and feel so many different emotions. I loved the fantasy elements and the romance so much. I have watched many dramas, but this one will always have a special place in my heart. I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation. It truly deserves a perfect 10/10 and will always be my favorite drama. Was this review helpful to you?
