I read the few chapters of it and the series is already going beyond where the book is at as it's not completed. From both the book and series Pure Omegas are not the pretty damsels in distress but one who is almost Alpha like, but still an Omega. This is why they are able to birth S level Aphas or Enigmas (for an idea of one check out ABO Desires, the series it's delicious) For Phatsa attitude to Naphitch he has no clue what he did just that he had to defend both mom and Nakhun. Remember how he has a problem of sticking his nose in from the first episode well it's the same but different, as Nakhun is his mate. So far, they haven't shown what makes the difference from and ordinary to a Pure Omega so the standoff was one of a few differences we'll come to see.
