this is absolutely the best realistic series that aired
Xiao Fang is an insanely good rural Chinese series that feels refreshingly real and heartfelt. Xiao Fang's entire family is absolutely adorable—their love, support, and everyday interactions make them impossible not to root for. I also appreciated how the series honestly portrays the ups and downs of pregnancy, showing the emotional and physical challenges without romanticizing them. Most of all, it's refreshing to see it push back against the stereotype that a woman has to get married simply because she becomes pregnant. It treats its characters with empathy and nuance, making the story both meaningful and deeply enjoyable.
