One of the best drama in 2026 I’d dare say. The plot keeps you at edge, you can never know where the story would flow. The plot twist be twisting. Main couple are strong, smart and the character growth and story progression is great. Pacing is great too, since it’s a short 28 episode series, there are no fillers episode. Every second is well used. Side characters done well too. Hou Minghao brings Xiao Wuyi alive, action packed and full of emotion display. Aimi, brings out the naivety of the character so well, and yet managed to grow into this smart, loving and forgiving lady despite the circumstances she was thrown into. If you’re on the fence, definitely give it a go. You would enjoy the ride.
