A Faiiled System...
The movie was a good watch, the actors and their acting were all on point. I wanted to be emotionally invested but I said no, it is not worth it and I will say why it isn't for me. It focuses more on the lives of those who suffers the brutality, the aches that even time could not heal, the reality of how some does not just care after destroying another person's world and carry on like they did nothong but karma is real anyways, their lives is not sth to wish for from afar. In as much as the movie was good, I felt like the police were dumb, the entire force including the prosecutor. Following the evidences closely while watching, I already figured out Kibeom is the culprit, but when the incidence with sun young happened, I said it will likely be Kihwan, in the first place, who predicted the blood group to be B cause that was what make Tae Joo thought otherwise, however, evidences still points at him yet he was not figured out, why do they thing the 7th case was by another killer, it is easy to assume that it was the same killer that did it due to his frustration that he neither could kill sunyoung nor Ji woo and that they escaped, he just needed to murder someone and that was what make the 7th case different but no, it is easier to assume it was Imseok. And don't let me get stated about Imseok, which kind of love is so blind that your sister cannot stand for you when you needed her the most, all because of her other family, that was why i did not pity him, he chose to spend his 30 years in prison by telling his sister not to be his witness about his whereabout that day and his sister is not just a sister by following suit, cause he would have been found not guilty if he had an alibi for that night. Therefore, in as much as his story was pitiful, I fast forward it cause I cannot come and cry, if a sibling do so for me in real life, I will cut all ties asap, that is not family, it is just a relationship of convenience. I almost cry for Ki Beom but I hold it when he hid his brothers crime. More victims could have been avoided if he corrected Tae Joo that it wasn't him that followed Min Ju to give her umbrella but Ki Hwan, all the pieces would have fixed then. He trying to save his brother because of their mother, it is heartwarming and selfish at the same time cause a killer will always be a killer, does he think him promising not to kill Sun Young was what spared her, is he not even scaed that one day, he will murder his wife or their entire family, this guy is a psycopath for crying out loud and he proove it by killing him first, to me, it was not the abuse that kill Ki Beom but Ki Hwan cause he could have been taking to the hospital the moment he found out he might not make it but he left him until life left him. Don't get me started on SiYoung, his brother and the corrupt Police officials including his friend who was always on his beck and call, his father, all power hungry people trying to save their own skin, brteayals, betraying their oaths to climp the ladder by nook or crook. When Tae Joo went to meet Si Young and he saw what supposedly to be a funeral a party, where connections are made, it was the highlight, oh, this is how people are. Somebody just died, somebody just fucking loose his life and you are all to be blame, while is the guilt not eating you, why are you not reflecting, an innocent person died because of the decision you all connived to directly or indirectly and Ki Hwan, ah! Fake tears, you kill your brother man. Yea, I am not writing annoyingly, it was actually annoying but I appreciate the writing cause it depict an aspect of reality either I accept it or not. And their his Tae Joo, For every of his decision, I never blamed him, although his wrong call did a lot of dirty to innocent people but the innocent people people made some emotional wrecking decisions too and did not help matters at some point, I did not blame him cause he made the decision after careful thought, plus and minus, evidence tracing. However, I blamed him when he left that town and stopped finding the killer, because of the promise he made, ohh, so a promise could hold you back, just a promise for the whole of 30 years until you were requested by the killer. And that self centered family, how could they demand sth for saving their own daughter and sister, what the hell, so if he did not ask and begged, you all would have left Sun Young to die, and I still dont know why Sun Young did not later find out so she can know the so call father she wanted to rely on is not a father, the person that seek her inorder for the whole saga of illegitimate daughter should affect his political ambition. I was quite sure the killer was not caught, he just surrendered when he got tired of killing. And Jiwon, she trust her friends so much, I thought the rule of finding a guilty person is to suspect every other person except for you, she could have detected it was Ki Hwan when Ki Hwan told him he relocated to the next town, and she also knows Tae Joo who was transferred to that villlage came back because their was a murder with same pattern of the killer, especially the fact that Ki Hwan was once suspected, And nobody, nobody in that entire movie vexed me like Ki Hwan, man you can't be helped, you are a lost cause, Did you guys know I can't understand while he is being treated like he is some high mighty in the prison, why is he even treated as a human being, only him, he has schedule, he has who and who he will open mouth and talk to , he even has mind to be requesting and even that Tae Joo, if he was not requested, he will keep on carrying baggage. Justice was not served and even truth was not revealed, all for a promise he made, besides, the ending was so abrupt, accident from no where just to hide the police incompetencies especially Tae Joo, and shows the killer aptness. Somebody they are supposed to beat every single day, they will not kill him ooo, he will just be mincing in pain that he will wish for death but they won't kill him, give him such torture that will be what is suffering since he does not felt a morsel of remorse whatsoever for the victims, his reason were so nonsentical. I was frightening them at first, I felt so important as they become a scared, a stone started it all. She was passing by, she was smiling so brightly, I felt nothingness but seeing her smile awake sth in me, like... that is your reason dor killing a 8 year old girl Hye Joon, guy, you don't need help, you need hell. And that actor, he acted it so well that he was vexing me every second he is acting and they are now all treating him like some god. At then end of the day, everybody made a selfish decision, there were no real friends, only frienimies, the ones that are ready to sell their loyalty to save their skin, and I love the fact that till the very end, they all stood by the decisions they made with no regrets. Si Young said, I am a principled man, i followed my prionciple to Young Beom who he considered as a son, Sun Young, he treated me right, I did not regret going to my father. Even the Young cops that was once justice driven but now bend rules, Tae Joo did not view him as a bad person, he is just a man who was lost in the system he found himself, if a better environment was presented, he would have turned out better. Like Minju said, Tae Joo should catch the culprit cause hosnestly, I fel the rest are all dimwiths that the whole town would be wiped out before they were able to catch the culprit. But then, Tae Joo make decision for his sister, and left, Ki Beom make decision for his family and hid his brother, Im Seok make decion for his siter to not be questioned in her new family and went to jail, the youg cop his the truth about Hye Jun to not forfeit his promotion and serve his mother as he was the only son... So who is right and who is wrong, Nobody, Just Individuals making decioson that best suit them at a point in time.I like the ending, the dream. What would have happend if it were otherwise, the whole town suffered cause of a failed system. People who find themselves in a failed system they never chose to be and the emotional baggage they carried as years went by, baggage that even time could not heal. And a failed system are still in some part of the world today, not the murder situation but many others.

What is your Purpose in Life
My headline stood out for me? there are many parts that stood out but that question never ceast to amaze me, especially the answers to them. Not the regular I want to be successful or famous but an answer that assure you, you do not need to be all that, simple but yet relieves you, only you know what the answer meant to you, sth you do not think about but want to be defined as, I want to be a little less embarassing, no one knows how embarrased you felt for you to want to be that, you don't need to make it like boom, I want to be a strong woman and mother, you must have had a past that makes you feel it would have been less hurtful if you have somebody like that in your life, I want to be somebody that is not ashamed of those closer, I want to be that guy with the humour, you never want to loose your spark and live life like it is not stressful, those answers are so humane, not the regular i dream to be an astronaut or doctor, you do not need to be impressive man, what is the kind of person you want to be. The answers to the question is screaming you do not need to fogure it all out, infact the movie is screaming we are all work in progress, all of us, nobody is perfect or made, this can be seen in Hwag do man's friend that has debuted but still trying to figure out life. Now makes me also think, what is my purpose in life, and I think I want to be who can make mistakes and take responsibilities.I did not cry though my friend told me I will, infact I laughed right from the beginning and I spoke out loud many times, Hwang, you just crazy but is craziness is screaming out sth, I don't want to loose myself, I simply don't want to loose myself. Many suffers brunt of his actions which he realise later, and to some others, they deserve what he gave them,
If I scream out my name, all that it reaches belong to me, that I can hear my own makes me feel I am still fighting, I am still in the game, I don't want to fail, I don't want to dissepear like smoke in the air, I don't want it to seem like I never pass through what I pass through.
And oh my God, when Hwang do man named the unknown emotion, I was deeply touched, infact, if i think about it, i should have cried many times in the film but I was touched instead, I think about it deeply as it is but not attach it to someone, maybe if i had thought, oh, sb is there at this point in life, I definately would have bawled my eyes out. When he said Help me, I saw that little girl who made her gimbap herself sitting in that middle of the class while every other thing is goin on with blood oozing out from her nose, and I said help me, yea, that is what she is screaming, more than being abandoned, she is screaming help and no wnonder her step grand mother who took her in, means her world. Help me, help me, i have seen myself in that shoes many times, too bad there was no one around to ask, like Eun a, not that we cannot ask, but we never even knew what the emotions was, if only there was sb that could have figure that out and step up to help without ever asking, if only there was hwang do man that is deeply affected by sb else trouble for him to reflect and say, your emotion is asking for help, Help me
Be with sb in their hardest, oh my God, while I said so many parts are words that should touch, no, it would touch you at that point in you, If one had one during one's hardest period, it would never leave such a wound that is to painful to bear, the wound that deepens your heart that you will almost feel, oh, I am not breathing, and sorry to say, some ppl are just mean, not the regular thrash talks to make them on top or feel alight, they will bring one totally down with some mean harsh words to face their own reality and those words touch, those words hurt, be it the truth or some just careless talk.
People are masses of emotions, yea yea, we are, in as much as we cannot define one by one emotion biut we can define one by a type of emotion at a point in time, and I am trying to experiment it, if this peson was an emotion, what would the person be right now... so many.
if I could craete a type of weather right now, I wonder what I will create, I am wondering too, if that weather can be created forever, a very cool weather that does not give room for worries at all, why can't life be just easy
Okay, so I have been ramming on and on, you can watch it to know what my ram is all about, this movies makes me reflect, that kind of deep reflection when I watch you and everyting else. If you are not scare to navigate through emotions, you should heck this out. And yes, I must mention, the actors ate thier role, and to interprete their roles: Hwang is a bit self centered, and he does not even know when to stop, his chaos gives him luck at times, but it is totally wrong trolling people's hardwork right on their face, he is struggling, he does not want to loose himself, whatever all his excuse was, it was not right, cause other people were also trying to figure out their life, and even in their small wins, there were crumbs of doubt and a bit of, I am scared, I wan to figure out what next. Eun a, personally, I tell people don't define the extent of how people should showcase their pain when you cause them that pain but the pain she holds onto is breaking her, it hurts her, it tied her down, it depresses her, she hold onto that pain for so long that even when the pain want to heal, she still wants to hold on to it, the pain gave her survival but the pain should not be why she is breathing. But, yes, that is what make her the human, I don't know, I have no answer, and some of the conversations she had with Hwang do man, start making her reflect and slowly, she was healing so yea, I hope we all found that person that we both resonate. Jin man, Hwang's brother , ohh, He was so suicidal, I get he is tired of life and he did not want to die truly cause if he wants to, he will try suicide somewhere far away, not where he can easily be save. He was living before and he stopped living, he cannot bare himself living, happy when his daughter whereabout his unknown, that reason his so lame, the question is what did you do for your daughter. Seeing him, I thought, ohh, so lofe can be like that, you can just be tired of everything for a long time, but I am telling you all if ou ever find yourself in that situation, don't be like him that is not willing to accept help or wants to be healed like Do man and Eun a. No wonder Do Man predicted help me, so easily, in a way, he is also saying help me in his brother's place, I like it when I hear sth like I want to live, I want to be save, I do not want to die, in those gloomy state, at the worse of sb's life, if you want to live then absolutely nothing can end you, you will see the dawn of the day and perharps you will say, ohh, so the world is not only at night, darkness is not all there is, and if you live like living and not just life glacing through you but you glacing through life after all that, when you get to enjoy life, and show it is worth living, trying to figure it out all the time, those simple small moments, then you are a story to be told not that you want to be told but because of the countless lives you will save out there. What Eun a is trying to figue out, her mother figured it out, since her childhood was not rosy but she was ale to get out of there while still being in there. It is worth your time, watch it, if I go on and on, my writing will continue to be here and ther, I am sorry about that.

The movie is nice; it is worth watching for a first-timer. The story was inviting, and the acting was on point. The FL lead ate her role; she was brave, she stood up for herself, worked hard, made mistakes and through her mistakes, she learned gradually- typical life. Here come the spoilers: it was all about her, and every other character was relevant only because of her. I was invested in it at first; I was anticipating how the story would unfold. I wanted to know the root; I even recommended it to a friend before I finished it. I said, " Oh, it might give me the vibes of you and everything else, but it was overly dragged. I became exhausted with how the FL and ML were going back and forth. At some point, I spoke out loud, ' This is why they said you guys are not realistic," Korean dramas, I meant. I get they wanted to make the FL lead flawed like a human being, but it was overdone. The ML loving her completely, it is nice, but that only happens in drama; I cannot count how many times he had been pushed away. Every time he clung, he could not even move on for 12 years; he already decided I will reunite with my first love and no other. His only role in that drama is to reunite, nothing more. I love the FL tho, I can relate to her in many ways. Choosing her pride over money earned her a friend that changed her status; her sassy, strong character of not wanting to be wronged, she gave them back every time, but the forgiveness that happens in that ending, it is totally unrelatable. I was hoping there was a legit story her father is hiding for him to not be present when his family needed him, but there was none. Then the bullies asking for forgiveness, I want to believe they were children and did not know any better; that was why they bullied her. However, when they knew, they did not want to admit they were wrong, so they decided to continue being an ass. And when they saw her work, they decided to give in and apologise, cause, now they understood she is not the same girl as yesterday. And what about the villagers? Today they are nice; tomorrow, they are vixen. The dragging btw the ML and FL could have been minimised if some of the supporting characters were also developed a bit; it could have been compensated for. Today she suddenly wants him; tomorrow, she does not want to be with him. Why? Because of their past. The same past kept on keeping them apart till episode 9. Even after episode 9, she still asked for a break-up; guess why? It is still the past. And the ML mother, ohh, there can not be sb more annoying; it is amazing how she was angry till the very end and was receiving an apology when she was the one who was supposed to apologise. The ML was just being controlled in some way either by his mother or the FL, miscommunication and misunderstandings that could be solved easily, it was dragged unneccessarily, that is my point, And I am not talking about other characters cause they have little or no story line sef, Areum and the FL is claiming best friend, but they have not said hello in 12 years, what else if that was not forced, I will stop here, no need to go on and on.
