My Accidental BL Gateway (And Why It Traumatized Me First)
TharnType holds a special (and slightly chaotic) place in my heart as the very first BL series I ever watched (way back pandemic) (sue me!).
To be completely honest, I was actually traumatized!
Because it was my introduction to the genre!
There are so many scenes where you got confused cause like 'why are they not asking for consent?' That is a massive, absolute no-no for me.
The only reason I kept watching was because I felt like there was a deeper story hiding underneath all the mess, but those non-consensual elements still leave a bad taste in my mouth to this day.
If I could go back in time, I just really wish it had been my second or third BL instead of my absolute first!
