Today's ep got even more intense bruh... I'm having a whole roller-coaster of emotions rn, esp w Dean. He made me SO pissed, but at the same time, I feel so damn sorry for this man. I rlly didn't expect things to take THIS turn. We got to see him happy, giggling, flirting, lost, confused, rude, pissed AF (which was hot af, i want to see pissed more 😳🔥) & then completely alone. William rlly did such an amazing job playing Dean. I'm honestly in complete shock rn. He rlly is such a GREAT actor for SURE.

I also felt so bad for Moth. The way he got ditched, then left drinking alone, Dean took his lil rage out on him & then completely ignored and ghosted him for a whole week... that pissed me off SO BADLY.

And we rlly got to see how trash Dean's friends are. They all need to stay tf away from him. Dean seriously needs better friends cuz this is just hell.

We also got to see Mint, who's playing Dean's sister, and from what we've seen, they seem pretty close & have a rlly good relationship. He also seems to have a good relationship w his parents, but they're clearly worried abt him too. Now I rlly wanna know Dean's backstory. Like what happened to u, dude? What made u become like this? Who changed u this badly?

Anyway, let's see what ep 5 brings. I just gotta say, this series keeps getting better w EVERY ep. It's getting SO damn good 🙌😏

I’m not gonna lie, I’m not a huge WilliamEst fan, but they’re def among the actors in the BL industry whose work i genuinely look forward to. Both of em, esp Est, have impressed me with every project i've seen them in. They’re such talented actors whom I genuinely respect, and I rlly wanna see more of their work in the future.

ThamePo was their 1st series together, and they absolutely nailed it. So getting to see them as main leads again after so long already had me excited. But when I first saw the You Maniac teaser, THIS was exactly the kind of project I wanted from them, Red flags, messy choices & chaotic characters. And thankfully, that’s exactly what we got 😌

I’ve watched all 3 eps so far, and i hv SO much to say, but I’ll keep it short for now. Dean & Moth are both incredibly complicated. They’re red flags, messy, kinda idiots, and clearly carrying a lot of shit that shaped who they are. The way they’re living their lives rn is honestly FUCKED UP. They’re both trying so hard to be happy while somehow making everything worse for themselves.

What I find most interesting is their dynamic. They hate each other, hurt each other & constantly mess with each other, yet deep down, they clearly wanna be around each other. Even their fights bring them closer, cuz they’re slowly learning to understand each other and be more honest with themselves. Neither of them even realizes how much they’re changing. They’re becoming more alive, feeling things they’ve never allowed themselves to feel, and THAT slow development is what has me so invested. The pacing makes every ep feel like I NEED to know what happens next.

I haven’t read the novel yet, but judging from these 3 eps, I hv a feeling their relationship is only gonna get more chaotic, messy, complicated & 🔥. And WilliamEst? Absolutely killing it. Their chemistry & acting are NEXT LEVEL. They’ve completely understood these characters, and I’m genuinely impressed by how well they’re pulling them off.

So yeah, I’m DEF recommending You Maniac. If u like messy characters, complicated relationships, intense chemistry & a story that keeps getting more chaotic, give this one a shot. Trust me, u are NOT gonna be bored 🙌😉
