I finished the novel and it is so damn good. I'm having withdrawals just waiting for the drama to air. Go Lin Yun and Zheng Linghe. I've hope the drama well get a lot of viewership and get great receiver support.

The Road to Glory is indeed a masterpiece piece. It's so freaking good. It's been a while since I've reading a super well written novel like this. The last 6 chapters were so sad. Mudan story had me so heartbroken too. But, his mother's story had me bailed my eyes out. Especially when he went to set her ashes free. 😭 😭 😭 💔😥!!!

Reba is super beautiful and stunning. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I've just discovered Lin Yun through the drama Footprints of Change, with Cheng Lei, and I felt in loved with her. I've look her up and saw that she has a new drama with Zheng Linghe. I've seen most of Zheng Linghe's dramas and love him as an actor alot. POJ was very good, I've losing sleep just to watch the drama and was a huge fan of Zheng Linghe and Tian Xiwei couple. However, I suddenly found Lin Yun and Zheng Linghe to have a drama together. I checked on TikTok and Facebook for more info, and came upon so many distasteful comments about how ugly Lin Yun was to be put in a drama with Zheng Linghe. How untalented she was, like a block of stone. How unhappy and bored Zheng Linghe look to be pairing up with this no name actress. She’s using Linghe to make a name for her because she is no where near Changyu. I was very saddened, because I've find Lin Yun very beautiful, love her poised acting. I love her professional personality on set with her co-stars. I became a huge fan of her, alone. Not shipping her with anyone. Just shipping her with her works. After I've recently started going through all her works in this short period of time.
Please, no fan wars or discrediting anyone of Zheng Linghe's beautiful and talented actresses he's working with. I support him and his works. Since you've asked, so I'm just expressing my disappointment towards the crazy shippers. As a died heart fan of POJ, I'm disappointed.
I love Lin Yun and Zheng Linghe together. Watching all their behind the scenes clips, were very pleasing and heartwarming. They're so professional and hardworking. I love their natural interaction, without trying to be cute or overly cringed to impress their fans. It's just plain working scenarios. Cheng Li is one amazing actor. I love his expressive eyes and his acting so much. Especially in The Footprints of Change that I've just recently finished. I look forward to seeing his upcoming dramas. I hope he pair up with Lin Yun again because their chemistry is so good.
This is by far my favorite Republican-era drama I've watched lately. Cheng Ao and Lin Si Yun were such a beautiful couple. Their story, and the bond they had were so heartfelt. I wished there's more to their story, how they've grown after the war and their life abroad. Cheng Li and Lin Yun stole my heart with their performance and chemistry. So beautifully delivered. My favorite couple. I hope to see them work together again. ❤️
