I looked up the actual post instead of relying on the screenshots that miss a lot of the context. The actress posted screenshots from a comedy scene in the drama where something blows up in her face. Est commented two laughing emojis to that post and OP made an edit of that to accuse him of colourism and racism, it's clear what their intentions are.

I looked up the Instagram post directly. The actress posted a funny scene from the drama where something "blows up" in her face hence why it looks "dirty". He very likely commented the laughing emojis regarding the comedic scene in the drama and that doesn't prove that he is colourist/racist, tf. The drama is full of outdated cliches and I agree that I don't necessarily like the narrative of her tanning herself to appear less attractive although it's not that big of difference if you watch the drama itself. However, to claim a person is racist over two laughing emojis commented on a post about a comedic scene from a popular romcom drama seems like a reach.

It's also interesting how you comment the same thing after two years and the same exact user replies just as you comment, the timing is so perfect unless you know each other or are the same person because it didn't seem that either user was very active beforehand. It just looks to me you just hate the actor and you're trying to push a narrative to spread hate because where is this energy on the actual drama page or the actual actors involved in drama?

I'm also doubtful you actually care about colourism due to the language you use because for some reason it goes from calling out colourism to blatantly insulting people and their looks in your reply, don't know why you think you're any better when you're going around calling people ogres and insulting others unprovoked. You also seem to love exaggerating things and throwing around big words without any substance. Do you even know what a minstrel show is? Colourism exits in EVERY country and it's media unfortunately so might as well boycott media from all countries cause I assure you, you will find colourism in every single industry. All this over two laughing emojis on some cut scenes from a comedic scene posted, the way you talk about it I thought he did something worse. How about putting that energy into calling out actual racism instead of speculations based on a singular comment. You're only pushing your own narrative without any actual substance to cause hate, when I actually went to look for the actual post itself instead of relying on your exaggerated screenshots, I realised how much of a nothingburger it actually was.

Where is the topic of boosting numbers coming from? If they don't promote how would others discover the series?? We fans already know about it, that doesn't mean only fans should watch a series, we obviously want the series and actors to be discovered more, who the heck doesn't want a series to be successful, especially when it involves actors you like. This isn't a new thing, promotion has ALWAYS existed for all types of media, it's a part of marketing. If I'm not a fan of actors I don't keep up with their work but promotion and marketing is what catches the attention of us non fans and that's how we can discover new media and it's necessary. Promotion and marketing have been the reason why I've discovered so many great series and movies otherwise I wouldn't know it existed.

I feel like you're not too present in the fandom online and how GMMTV rolls out their series, otherwise you would know the fans calling them out was justified. It was also very obvious when they posted something because they were called out, you can see the lack of effort in what they put out. If you're familiar with the bare minimum GMMTV does to promote their series you would notice that YM and williamest didn't even get that very bare minimum to the point other fandoms even from other companies were pitying the fans.

Honestly, a solid first episode. I was engaged throughout the entire ep and that chemistry whew😳 I'm so excited about how the story will unfold
