Enjoyable Story and Great Pacing, but the Male Lead Lacks Impact

Wonderland of Love was an enjoyable watch for me. I liked the overall story, the conflicts, and especially the pacing. The series does a good job of keeping the story moving without feeling unnecessarily dragged out, and the political and military conflicts were interesting enough to keep me engaged throughout.

However, my biggest issue was the male lead. I felt that his impact on the overall story was not as significant as it should have been. For me, a main character does not necessarily need to have overwhelming power, a high position, or absolute authority. What matters more is how actively they respond to conflicts, make decisions, take risks, and influence the direction of the story.

Unfortunately, the male lead often felt too passive, silent, and hesitant. There were many moments when I wanted to see him take a stronger initiative or make decisions that would meaningfully change the situation, but instead he often seemed to wait or hesitate. As a result, I sometimes felt that the story could move forward without him having as much influence as I would expect from the main protagonist.

Despite that, I still enjoyed the series overall. The conflicts were engaging, the pacing was good, and the political and military elements made it an entertaining watch.
