a captivating story but the ending…

Honestly, I really, really loved this series. From the very first episode, literally from the first few minutes, the story manages to pull you in and make you curious about what’s going to happen next. I found the parallel-universe concept really interesting, and I loved the way the story combines science fiction with love, emotions, and the relationships between the characters.

I got really attached to the characters, and as I kept watching, I found myself becoming more and more emotionally invested in Weina and Ben’s story. I thought their story was beautiful, different, and genuinely emotional at times. There’s something about it that makes you feel like you’re actually part of the story rather than just watching it.

But I have to talk about the ending… because honestly, what was that ending?! 😭

I genuinely expected a happy ending. I was hoping that Weina and Ben would somehow find their way back to each other and finally get the ending they deserved. Instead, the series ended without them getting that happy ending together, and honestly, that hurt me so much.

I cried so much, but more than anything, I was just left thinking: “That’s it?! 😭” It doesn’t feel like a complete ending to me. I feel like the story was supposed to continue. The fact that Weina ends up in another world made me feel even more like the story was left unfinished, and that there was still so much more to tell.

Honestly, I really wish there had been a second season, because there was still so much that could have been explored. I wanted to see what happened next and, most importantly, I wanted to see Weina and Ben get the happy ending they deserved.

I’m the kind of person who loves happy endings, but even if they didn’t want to give us a completely happy ending, I would have been okay with that if we had at least gotten some proper closure. Instead, it felt like the story just stopped and left us to imagine what happens next.

Even so, the ending doesn’t change the fact that I really loved this series. Venus on Mars is captivating, emotional, has an original story, and has characters you genuinely grow attached to.

I definitely recommend it. ❤️
Just be prepared for the ending… because you might finish the series wishing there was another season. 😭
