Secondary couple
Found this series because of reading the synopsis. Kind of disappointing after watching it. It is like the writers never commented to one idea or another. There are some inconsistencies and kind of ridiculous plots, even in the world of BL series. No one would die from falling down one short flight of steps. If we are to believe the soul is more important than the physical body, explain how grandpa would let his grandson die instead of letting him returning to his body? I cringe when the CP got together in any scene because all i could think of is he is granpa in my head. Why are there hints that grandpa’s wife might be the incarnation as the younger lover? Let’s not even talk about the red ribbon….I actually like the secondary couple. The actors are both from boy bands and are quite good in their acting and believable in the story line.. Din Li is the one to watch in the future, for sure.Was this review helpful to you?
Its like reading a Manga
Watching this in US. Still waiting on finale episode 12 to drop. Already rewatched it twice. It is that good. A bit slow, but i think it is because the cinematography is meant to be like reading a manga. There will be scenes with really up close shots and long pauses, and the only thing the characters would utter softly is “hmm” or “huh”. Love the outdoor scenes, made me wanted to do a pilgrimage of this series. You grow with the characters from beginning to end of series. It is one of those rare series that you hope they wound do a sequel few years later because you want to know what happen to them. Hint: “autumn of you”? Main lead Wataru’s acting is superb. You bust out laughing with him in some scenes while you drop tears on others. May do a third rewatch once the finale has aired.Was this review helpful to you?
