Aside from the sweet flirting between the two of them, one thing that really stood out to me in this episode was how the director explored Dean and Moth’s loneliness in two completely different ways.Moth chooses to spend his birthday alone because he feels that, in the end, he is the only person who will truly love and care for him the most. Dean, on the other hand, chooses to party in order to drown out the loneliness deep inside him—something no one else seems to notice.This makes me even more excited for the upcoming episodes, because I’m really curious about what happened to the two of them that made them become the way they are now.
