I looked forward to this men's love series for months and I am disappointed. That early scene with spilled coffee - without any warning Jun baby is suddenly wearing Jun daddy's shirt. Was it cut?? There were a LOT of scenes like that - very poor editing and story choices. Why so many extended office work/meetings that COULD have been sweet and juicy interactions instead? A lot of the work details were difficult to understand, as well. This is one I won't re-watch and may not even remember in a year.
Edited to add: that very unique lap scene -- want way more of those in future men's love series!! That was awesome and hilarious.
I don't give a whit if Home Town was copied by China! So MANY countries do remakes of various dramas ... I just know we wanna watch it because we LOVED Home Town and Chief Hong! Hope it is as good :)
I liked it for the most part... but the chemistry, kisses and nc could have been much better. It felt like, "can i kiss him without touching lips?" For a second I thought I was watching a Korean BL. The way Tinn suddenly was "in" on the relationship felt too quick - a bit more lead-up or build-up to it would have been more believable.

I loved each heartfelt - so much humanity. Very well done. Not for the 'I watch BL to feel lighthearted' crowd... this is more for the deep thinker who wants to know more about real humans and their stories.
Jesus. Wow. I loved it - the individual stories were so unique - I could watch a new one every day. Edge of your seat sex scenes were pretty good for this 'only watched 1 real porno in my life' gal. I did not like seeing the cut up boy - so sad. I'm also shocked to have seen this on VIKI! I didn't know Viki would show such things.
Watched on gaga (audio lagged in 2nd half - not sure how to submit a complaint about that). But, what kind of ending was that?!? Are we supposed to just choose our own conclusion? I am famous for that, so I choose to believe the 3 became a happy thruple LOL. P.S. - I liked it, for what it was.
I didn't find it nearly as bad as everyone says it is. No goats appeared in blanc or noir LOL. Some kisses were kinda gross, but I just tried to recall when I used to kiss like that LOL. I only ff/shut off sound during the ouch 'off' part, and ff thru some of the old man stuff (yuk).
I came back 9/9/23 to say: I have had nightmares about one particular scene. I'm especially sensitive to someone being tortured, since it has happened to me. The boy wrapped in plastic has haunted me so badly, I had to create my own ending for that scene it so I could get past the trauma. I decided the whole thing was faked in order to scare the ML into running away, and after he left the room, they unwrapped that poor boy and took off the fake 'mask' and hardware; then they all talked about how scary it was and rubbed his poor arms. Whew. sigh.
